The transfer window is close to opening and several teams are already preparing to go to the market in search of new signings. This is the case of Cruz Azul, from Mexico, who would be willing to make a proposal for Arrascaeta, from Flamengo.

According to information from journalist Ike Carrera, Cruz Azul intends to send a formal proposal for Arrascaeta between June and July. However, the Mexican team's management understands that this is a difficult negotiation, as there is a termination clause and the player's high market value.

This is not the first time that Cruz Azul is interested in the Uruguayan. At the beginning of the year, the Mexican team also investigated the player, but withdrew after seeing the amount of his fine. Other clubs are also interested in the midfielder, but retreat after the high request from Mais Querido.

ARRASCAETA'S TERMINATION FINE

It is worth highlighting that Arrascaeta's termination fine revolves around of 50 million euros (R$280 million). Furthermore, the midfielder has a contract with Flamengo until December 2026.

In this way, with Arrascaeta at his disposal, The Flamengo squad will perform at CT Ninho do Urubu this Sunday (26) to continue preparing for the match against Millonarios, at Maracanã, next Tuesday (28). The game will be valid for the last round of the Libertadores group stage.

For Rossi, the key to the match will be the red-and-black team's psychological preparation: "The main thing is to stay mentally strong, to prepare ourselves as best we can for this sequence. I know well what the Libertadores means to Estudiantes . And we know that there are no easy games in the competition, no matter where they are.
