One of the highlights of the Premier League, Andreas Pereira left Flamengo in July 2022 after the Rubro Negro board chose not to buy him from Manchester United. However, even playing for Fulham (ING), the midfielder doesn't get Mais Querido out of his mind. This is because, this Monday (12), the player spoke again about Mengo and commented that one day he will return to defend the Sacred Mantle.

In a post on Instagram, a Rubro Negro fan commented: “He will return to Flamengo , Andreas?". Soon after, Andreas answered the fan's question: “One day I'll be back. 100%”, said the player.

ANDRAS’ PASS TO FLAMENGO AND DRAMATIC EXIT

The midfielder is loved and hated by the Red and Black Nation. This is because, when he arrived on loan in July 2021, Andreas won the title and the fans' trust. However, in the Libertadores final, the player failed, resulting in a goal for Palmeiras and runner-up in the competition for Flamengo.

However, Andreas Pereira won two titles with Mais Querido. In 2022, under the command of Dorival Júnior, Rubro Negro won the Copa do Brasil and the Libertadores. Even though he was no longer at the club at the time, the midfielder won both medals for participating in the initial stages.

For Mais Querido, Andreas Pereira played in 53 matches with Manto Sagrado, scoring 8 goals and giving three assists. However, in July 2022, Flamengo's board chose not to buy him, and the player returned to England.
