NOW! FLAMENGO ADVANCES IN NEGOTIATIONS FOR PORTUGUESE SELECTION HOLDER

31-year-old player, plays for Betis, in Spain and is close to Flamengo

Furthermore, defender Léo Ortiz was finally hired from Bragantino after long conversations with the São Paulo team. Now, Flamengo can bring another reinforcement in this final stretch of the transfer window.

According to information from UOL journalist, Bruno Andrade, Flamengo has negotiations underway to buy the Portuguese midfielder William Carvalho. The conversations have been progressing positively and there is optimism for the outcome of the agreement. Transfer value is between 2 and 3 million euros.

William belongs to Betis, with whom he has a contract until June 2026, and has been highly rated by Tite's technical committee for years. Recently, he was in the sights of Bestikas, from Turkey, but negotiations did not progress.

At 31 years old, William Carvalho was revealed by Sporting, where he gained prominence and reached the Portuguese national team. He was European Cup champion in 2016 and then moved on to Spanish football.
