One day after opposition members released a manifesto against the possible transformation of Flamengo into SAF, the Landim support group União Rubro-Negra published a photo of a members' dinner with Rodrigo Dunshee de Abranches, vice-president and potential current candidate for president, with a hashtag against Sociedade Anônima de Futebol.

The photo of the dinner at the Vamo restaurant, at Flamengo's headquarters, was accompanied by #somostodoscontrasaf. In addition to Dunshee, Cacau Cotta, director of External Relations for the Landim administration and pre-candidate for councilman, was also present at the dinner.

The idea of SAF is defended by Landim as a solution to finance the construction of Flamengo's own stadium. The president believes that Flamengo can raise more than R$1 billion if it sells a minority portion of the club's football.

On Wednesday (5), partners Walter Monteiro, Gilberto Barros de Oliveira and Carlos Ferrão published a manifesto against the SAF after news broke that Landim had taken advantage of the trip to the Champions League final to look for investors for the possible SAF. Dunshee was on the trip.

In April, Dunshee said that discussing SAF at Flamengo at the moment is “sex for angels”.

“It’s something we have to deal with, not in basis of the concept. You have to deal with whether to paint a proposal, if a proposal appears. I personally don't see the need. I think it can be done based on chairs, and naming rights and other possibilities. But I think talking about hypotheses is difficult. If R$2 billion or R$3 billion appears to take 20% of Flamengo, will the partner want to see this? Let's ask the partner, do some research if he wants to know. Today there is nothing”, he said after winning the Campeonato Carioca.

This Sunday, Mais Querido will take the field against Athletico for the 28th round of the Brazilian Championship with a mixed lineup. Due to the physical exhaustion of some athletes and with the focus on the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil, which will take place in the middle of the week, coach Tite chose to preserve part of the squad. Eight changes will be made compared to the team that played against Peñarol last Thursday, when CRF was eliminated from the Libertadores.

GABIGOL AS STARTER

Gabigol, number 99, is one of the confirmed starters for the match. The striker will have a new opportunity as a starter after almost two months, repeating his role as a starter in the game against São Paulo, in August. Matheus Gonçalves, a young man who has stood out in recent matches, is also selected for the offensive sector.

Of the athletes who played against Peñarol, only Rossi, Léo Ortiz, Gerson and Plata will start this Sunday's clash. Important names such as Varela, Fabrício Bruno, Léo Pereira, Alex Sandro, De La Cruz, Arrascaeta and Bruno Henrique will be on the bench, ready to enter if necessary.

The CRF formation will have: Rossi in goal ; Wesley, David Luiz, Léo Ortiz and Ayrton Lucas in defense; Pulgar, Alcaraz, Gerson and Matheus Gonçalves in midfield; with Plata and Gabigol forming the attacking duo.

SKILLS AND RETURNS

In addition to Carlinhos' suspension, Expelled in the match against Grêmio, Tite will also be without some important players. Michael, who has already returned to training, will only be available for the game against Corinthians, in midweek. Other absences include Cebolinha, Viña, Pedro and Luiz Araújo.

WHERE TO WATCH

In this way, red and black fans who want to watch another Mais Querido match will only have one option. This is because only Premiere (pay-per-view) will broadcast the game between Flamengo and Athletico-PR.

Even though the lineup has not yet been defined, there is a possibility that Tite will again spare half of the athletes in the Brasileirão. However, it is likely that the coach will reduce the number of reserves, unlike the clash against Grêmio, in which 12 athletes were preserved.

Probable Flamengo lineup: Rossi; Varela (Wesley), Fabrício Bruno (David Luiz), Léo Pereira (Cleiton) and Alex Sandro (Ayrton Lucas); Léo Ortiz (Evertton Araújo), De la Cruz (Pulgar), Arrascaeta (Alcaraz) and Gerson (Lorran); Plata (Matheus Gonçalves) and Bruno Henrique (Gabigol) Coach: Tite.

Probable lineup for Athletico-PR: Mycael; Madson (Léo Godoy), Kaique Rocha, Thiago Heleno and Esquivel; Erick, Christian (Praxedes) and Zapelli; Cuello, Canobbio and Mastriani (Pablo).

The official launch of Rodrigo Dunshee's campaign for the presidency of Flamengo had its date changed. Initially scheduled for September 30th, the event was postponed to October 14th. The change in schedule can be seen as a strategy to reorganize the agenda and intensify preparations, as the internal dispute at the club is known for its complexity and the engagement of different groups and leaders.

Despite the postponement After the launch event, the formalization of the candidacy did not change. The official registration of Chapa UniFLA, entitled “Para Continuar Champion Em Tudo”, will take place next Monday, September 30th, at the club’s headquarters, located in Gávea. This is a mandatory step in the electoral process and guarantees Dunshee's presence as one of the candidates in the electoral race.

DUNSHEE HAS NEW CAMPAIGN DATE

Rodrigo Dunshee, current general and legal vice-president of Flamengo, is a well-known figure behind the scenes at the club. He has experience in prominent roles in the Red and Black administration and, over the last few years, has been directly involved in several negotiations and decisions relevant to Flamengo. The choice of the slogan “To Remain Champion in Everything” reflects the focus on keeping the club at the top of competitions, both on the national and international scene.

Dunshee's campaign promises to emphasize the continuity of the work already carried out by the current management. This includes both maintaining Flamengo as a sporting power and valuing administrative and financial stability, which were pillars during recent terms. This line of action seeks to attract not only the support of more traditional members, but also new voters who have started to follow the club in recent years, with Flamengo's rise in the football and other sports scenes.

Postponing the official launch may be a reflection of the need to align communication strategies and reinforce internal alliances, since Flamengo is marked by intense electoral processes and disputes between groups with different visions and interests for the club's future. The proximity of the registration date also helps the candidate to present themselves with a more solid and organized posture.
