The São Paulo tricolor overtook Mais Querido in the fight for a direct place in the Copa Libertadores. Corinthians, who ended the game with two players sent off, were unable to avoid the setback.

Flamengo and Athletico-PR face each other this Sunday (29), at 8pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã, in a duel valid for the 28th round of the Brazilian Championship. Shortly before the start of the match, coach Lucho Gonzalez confirmed the lineup of the team from Paraná, while the CRF also released its list of starters and absences for the clash.

On Athletico-PR's side, the team will start with Mycael in goal; Léo Godoy (Madson), Kaique Rocha, Thiago Heleno and Esquivel in the defense line; Erick, Christian and Zapelli in midfield; and Cuello, Canobbio and Mastriani (Pablo) forming the attack.

This last Saturday (28), the CBF announced the official dates of the two semi-final clashes of the Copa do Brasil. Therefore, the return match, which would have taken place between October 16th and 17th, was changed to October 20th. Thus, the president of Corinthians, Augusto Melo, detonated the entity.

After the São Paulo team issued an official note condemning the CBF's choices, Augusto Melo spoke out against the entity. In a video published this Sunday (29), the leader of the São Paulo team promised that he will seek answers about the change in date.


"Corinthians was disrespected. I want to understand the reason for the change, the anticipation of Brasileirão game from Sunday to Thursday, which is very important for us. CHANGES IN THE SEMIFINALS DATES

After Flamengo and Atlético-MG asked the CBF to change the dates of the second legs of the World Cup semi-finals of Brazil, the entity changed the clashes to the 2nd and 20th of October. Thus, Mais Querido faces Corinthians for the second clash on a Sunday, at 4pm, at Neo Química Arena.
