After losing to Fortaleza 2-1, the squad of Flamengo received the weekend off. After training on Friday (12), the players had Saturday (13) and Sunday (14) rest. Therefore, this Monday (15), the athletes will return to perform at CT Ninho do Urubu.

According to information from the Coluna do Fla portal, the players from Flamengo will reappear at CT Ninho do Urubu at 3pm. There, Tite and his technical committee will begin preparing the athletes for the clash against Criciúma.

A WEEK WITHOUT GAMES

Last Saturday (13), the 17th round of the Brasileirão started and will only end on Wednesday (17). However, the Flamengo will not take the field in the round, as the clash against Internacional was postponed by the CBF due to the delayed commitments of the team from Rio Grande do Sul in the Brazilian and South American Cup.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.



Following is the Red and Black lineup:Rossi, Varela, Fabrício Bruno, Léo Pereira and Alex Sandro; Pulgar, De la Cruz, Gerson and Arrascaeta; Plata and Bruno Henrique.

Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region.
