Mais Querido will face Corinthians in the semi-final

0Flamengo secured their place in the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil after beating Bahia 1-0 at Maracanã. However, former player and current presenter Neto believes that Rubro-Negro will be eliminated by Corinthians in the next phase, while Vasco must overcome Atlético-MG.
“For me, the World Cup final of Brazil will be between Corinthians and Vasco. These four clubs: Flamengo, which for me is the best team, but is not playing the football it should. Vasco, on the other hand, is very well and ‘upright’. Atlético, which is a good team, is better than Vasco, but in the games I've seen, they're not playing well. So, for me, it's Vasco”, said Neto on the program 'Os Donos da Bola' last Friday (13).
“(Atlético and Flamengo in the final) is the logic, but this confrontation , when you get there, things change. It doesn't define the game. If you ask me ‘Flamengo or Corinthians?’, I would say Flamengo! In what Flamengo plays, but will Flamengo withstand what Corinthians has today?” >Last Thursday (12), the duels for the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil were defined. Flamengo advanced after defeating Bahia 1-0 and will now face Corinthians, who eliminated Juventude. In the other match, Atlético-MG secured their place by drawing with São Paulo and will face Vasco, who qualified on penalties, even though they lost to Athletico-PR.
Flamengo and Corinthians have already decided the Copa do Brasil in 2022. On that occasion, after two draws in games at Neo Química Arena and Maracanã, the title was decided on penalties, with Flamengo taking the best and winning his fourth tournament title.
The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.
