One of the main players in Flamengo's squad, Arrascaeta is another on Mais Querido's extensive list of injured players. In order to be available to Tite as quickly as possible, the midfielder took advantage of Sunday (8) off to continue treatment at his own home.

During the FIFA Data break, Flamengo accelerated his recovery of Arrascaeta to have it as quickly as possible. This is because Mais Querido is worried about the game against Peñarol, in the quarter-finals of the Libertadores, and sees the midfielder as a fundamental player.

Although the squad received three days off last week , Arrascaeta had a different routine. With the injury to his left thigh, the number 14 used Tuesday (3) and Wednesday (4) to go to CT Ninho do Urubu and continue treating the problem, while his teammates enjoyed their free days.

FOCUS ON THE NEXT GAME

Arrascaeta received Sunday (8) off, as did the rest of the squad. However, he used recovery equipment at home. Therefore, the expectation is to have the Uruguayan on the field during this week's preparation.

The red-and-black squad will return to CT Ninho do Urubu this Monday (9) to continue preparing for the clash against Bahia, in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the Copa do Brasil, on Thursday (12).
