The Flamengo squad now turns its attention to the clash against Bahia after beating Bragantino 2-1 last Sunday (25). Before the first game of the quarter-finals of the Copa do Brasil, Rafael Ratão, striker of the Bahian team, projected this Wednesday's duel (28).
"The most important thing is to keep working and doing well to help Bahia. And Wednesday is a very difficult game, we know it is difficult to play against Flamengo, as it was against Botafogo, but we are prepared, we have a lot of quality, I am sure of having a great game here on Wednesday", said Rafael Ratão.
ATTACKER IS SUSPENDEDDespite planning the game between Flamengo and Bahia, Rafael will not be able to play in the first leg. This is because the attacker is suspended for having received a red card in the match against Botafogo, in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil.
TEAM SITUATIONFlamengo and Bahia compete in a place in the G-4 of the Brasileirão. Mais Querido is in fourth place, with 44 points, while the Bahians are in sixth place after drawing with Botafogo.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.
Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. "The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."
