— I believe that at this point in my career , after having experienced so many things and in so many different game models, tactically speaking, I believe that I would be able to adapt depending on my teammate, depending on the opponent. I learned a lot on this journey —, said the athlete.
— The position I feel most comfortable in is as a 5, to help in the build-up play, in the back, to be able to break the opponent's pressure and thus facilitate the game for my teammates, but I have no problem playing as a second midfielder as well . I feel super comfortable in both positions —, he concluded.
JORGINHO BRINGS WINNING BAGGAGE
Born in Imbituba (SC), Jorginho began his international career early . At the age of 15, he moved to Italy and joined the youth ranks of Hellas Verona. After standing out at the club and being loaned to Sambonifacese, he returned to Verona and caught the attention of Napoli , where he won the Italian Cup and Super Cup.
His career gained worldwide prominence after his transfer to Chelsea in England in 2018. At the London club, Jorginho won the Europa League (2019), the Champions League (2021) and the FIFA Club World Cup (2021), in addition to being named UEFA's Best Player in the 2020/21 season.
