Flamengo is about to reinforce its squad with midfielder Marcos Antônio, currently inLazio. Now, Flamengo focuses its efforts on final negotiations with Lazio to seal the signing. The expectation is that the remaining details will be resolved soon, allowing Marcos Antônio to join the Red and Black squad in this transfer window.

The player is seen as a fundamental piece for the ambitions of Flamengo in the season, both on the national and international stage. Marcos Antônio, known for his skill and vision of the game, should bring a new dynamic to Flamengo's midfield. The athlete stood out in the youth teams of Athletico Paranaense and, after a spell in Ukrainian football, arrived at Lazio, where he continued to develop his talent. 

This Monday (1st), goalkeeper Agustín Rossi turns one year old wearing the Flamengo shirt. Since his arrival, Rossi has shown determination and commitment to defending the red and black mantle and winning titles, becoming a key player for the Rio team.

Marcos Antônio, 24 years old, is a creation of Athletico-PR's youth teams and a contemporary of Vini Jr in the youth teams. The midfielder has spent time at Estoril, in Portugal, and Shakhtar Donetsk, in Ukraine. He was bought by Lazio in 2023 and loaned to PAOK, from Greece, last season, where he was national champion.
