Last Wednesday (24), Atlético-GO only drew 1-1 with Bahia, playing in front of their fans. Now, the Goiás team faces Flamengo at Maracanã. After the bitter draw with Bahia, conceding a goal in the 54th minute of the second half , Atlético-GO fell to the bottom of the Brasileirão with just 12 points won. This is because Fluminense beat Palmeiras and left last place for the team from Goiás.
In the last 13 games of Brasileirão, Atlético-GO has only one victory, against Fluminense, at Maracanã. During this period, they lost seven times and drew another five. Thus, the history led the Goiás team to fire Jair Ventura and enter the biggest crisis of 2024.

Current champions of the U-20 Intercontinental Cup, Rubro-Negro face Barcelona (ESP) this Saturday (23), at 4:30 pm, at Maracanã , in a duel that promises to be historic. The competition brings together the winners of the U-20 Libertadores and the UEFA Youth League, the main youth competitions in South America and Europe.
The Rio de Janeiro team secured a spot in the final after defeating Palmeiras in the U-20 Libertadores final. After a 1-1 draw in March, Flamengo won 3-2 on penalties, becoming the first club from the continent to win the continental competition twice .
As of Friday evening, approximately 35,473 tickets had already been sold , according to journalist Venê Casagrande. Sales are not yet complete, as the Upper South sector remains closed. Due to high demand, the Upper East sector has been reopened.
The clash between Flamengo and Barcelona is on track to break the U-20 World Cup attendance record of 40,579, set in the duel between Peñarol and Benfica in 2022. The partial indicates that the red-black fans can surpass this mark , transforming the Maracanã into a true party stage.

The Red-Blacks had already purchased 35,473 tickets as of Friday night.
