Flamengo and Bahia will face each other this coming Wednesday night (28), in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Copa do Brasil. Thus, the CBF defined the referee for the confrontation: Raphael Claus. The referee refereed the last Mais Querido match in Salvador, where the national knockout match will take place.
On July 25th, Raphael Claus refereed the match between Vitória 1 x 2 Flamengo , at Barradão, for the 19th round of the Brasileirão. On that occasion, Arrascaeta and Carlinhos scored Mais Querido's goals. However, the duo will not return to Salvador. This is because the midfielder is in the Medical Department and the attacker cannot play in the Brazilian Cup.

This Sunday (17), Internacional and Flamengo face each other at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), at Beira-Rio Stadium, for the 20th round of the Brazilian Championship. Coach Roger Machado will have to deal with important absences and adjust the team for the clash against Mais Querido.
Internacional will be without six players for the match against Flamengo : Tabata (suspended), Carbonero (left thigh injury), Mercado (right calf injury), Ivan (left knee arthroscopy), Bruno Gomes (left knee surgery) and Lucca Drummond (right knee surgery).
These absences force Roger Machado to make changes to the starting lineup, especially in the defensive sector and in the midfield , to maintain the competitiveness of the Gaucho team in the Brasileirão.
