This last Tuesday (17), Flamengo's under-20 team suffered a loss. This is because Nigerian striker Hassan Haruna is leaving the club. Despite having a contract with Mais Querido until March 2025, the player preferred to join Al Bataeh, a team from the United Arab Emirates.
Hassan Haruna arrived at Mais Querido in March this year after being featured in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior for XV de Piracicaba. According to information from the FlaBase portal, even though the attacker stayed for a short time, Flamengo received financial compensation and still kept 10% of the athlete's pass.
Right at the beginning of his time at Rubro-Negro, Hassan was among the under-20 starters. However, after Filipe Luís took over as the team's coach, the young man ended up losing space. In total, the player only scored two goals and made one assist.
It is worth remembering that Flamengo has another Nigerian on the team under-20. This is Shola. The young striker is one of Mais Querido's highlights this season and is in the final stretch of his contract with Rubro-Negro. However, Mais Querido's board decided to renew the relationship with the player.
In order to have Shola permanently, Flamengo will have to pay 200 thousand euros (R$ 2.5 million) to Remo Stars (NIG ), the team that owns the attacker's economic rights. Thus, the young man will stop playing on loan and will now become a Rubro-Negro player permanently.

In a match valid for the fourth round of the Carioca Women's Under-20 Championship, Flamengo defeated Serrano 20-0, this Saturday afternoon (14), in Gávea. Ingrid (4), Ana Papel, Maria Peck (2), Cecília, Anna Luiza (3), Alice, Leane (4), Duda Detori, Letícia Pinho (2) and Isabela Nunes scored Mengão's goals.
The game
The match had barely started and Flamengo opened the scoring after just two minutes. Isabela Nunes crossed into the area, Anna Luiza set it up for Ingrid to hit the goalkeeper: 1 to 0.
The red-black team continued to control possession of the ball and scored the second after seven minutes. Ana Papel caught the ball beautifully and hit the angle, with no chance for the goalkeeper: 2-0. Soon after, it was Maria Peck's turn to take a risk from distance and score the third goal of the match after just nine minutes.
The Meninas da Gávea didn't let up and expanded at 12'. Ingrid took advantage of the cross in the area to move the goalkeeper and score the fourth. Six minutes later, Mais Querido scored the fifth with Cecília, with a header: 5 to 0.
After the fifth goal, Cecília asked to leave and gave way to Gaby Bastos. Despite the large advantage on the scoreboard, Mengão went up in search of more. At 29', Ana Papel made a great move and passed the ball for her namesake Anna Luiza to cover: 6 to 0.
Serrano barely gave away the ball and the red-blacks scored the seventh of the match with another great goal from Anna Luiza from outside the area, also through coverage: 7 to 0.
To give final numbers to the first stage, Meninas da Gávea found the net four more times, with Alice, Ingrid (2 ) and Maria Peck. Rubro-Negro went into the break with an 11-0 lead. Highlight for striker Ingrid, who scored four times.
On the way back to the second half, Leane received the ball alone in the area and touched it low into the corner to make it 12-0. At 9', Anna Luiza entered the area alone and hit it into the goalkeeper's right corner: 13 to 0. It was shirt 10's hat-trick in the game.
As Meninas da Gávea didn't slow down and expanded in the 14th minute. Anna Luiza played the ball to Alice, who provided a beautiful light screen for Leane to reach with a cross: 14 to 0. Seven minutes later, Leane again entered the area alone and scored another hat-trick in the match: 15 to 0.
Right-winger Leane came into the match with everything and scored her fourth goal in the 37th minute. After taking off, she dribbled past the goalkeeper and scored the 16th goal. Then, Duda Detori further extends the advantage with a penalty kick: 17 to 0.
In the last minutes, Meninas da Gávea scored three more goals to give final figures to the rout. Letícia Pinho (twice) and Isabela Nunes completed the scoring in the great 20-0 victory.

Playing at home, at CT das Vargens, Flamengo defeated União Central, 2-1, this Thursday, in the Guilherme Embry Under-16 Tournament. The red and black goals were scored by Victor Hugo, the highlight of the match. The next game for Garotos do Ninho will take place on Sunday (22), when they will face Botafogo, away from home.

At 10 of the second half, on a free kick from Rogério, the goalkeeper rebounded, and Victor Hugo put it into the back of the net: 1 to 0. After taking the draw before the technical timeout, Mengão didn't take long to get back in front on the scoreboard , with Victor Hugo once again.

O Flamengo continues to reveal great stars for world football. Despite some not succeeding in Europe, the United Arab Emirates is seen as a great opportunity. This is the case of center forward Mateusão, 19 years old, a standout from Al Ahli Shabab.
The young man has played 15 games for the club and has already scored six goals and won a title, the country's Super Cup. His success in the United Arab Emirates is thanks to Flamengo, according to Mateusão himself. The striker praised Mais Querido, where he played from 2019 until 2023.
"I'm very grateful to Flamengo for everything the club did for me. It was many years wearing that shirt, which is one of the heaviest of world football, and I know the responsibility I carried. It was there that I learned a lot of what I know today, and if I am here today it is because of the training I had there", said Mateusão.
"Following the Games are complicated because of the time difference, but I always try to keep up to date and support my teammates who are there. Very happy with winning the Libertadores under-20, as it is the result of a lot of hard work that is done on the basis of club", added Mateusão.
MATEUSÃO'S PASS TO FLAMENGOThe young child from Ninho had few opportunities at Flamengo, with just 18 games, between 2021 and 2023. striker failed to score goals, but managed two assists. At base, however, the reality was different. In 2022, he found the net on 22 occasions, in 33 matches for the under-20 team.
TITLES WONIn addition to winning the Super Cup in the United Arab Emirates, Mateusão has on his CV various titles between basic and professional. The young man won Libertadores, Copas do Brasil (professional and under-17), Campeonato Carioca, Sul-Americano (under-15_ and Brasileirão (under-20 and under-17).
