FLAMENGO BARBIE! REBECA ANDRADE GETS A CUSTOMIZED VERSION OF THE FAMOUS DOLL

The Paris Olympics are approaching and the gymnasts of Flamengo are increasingly prepared for the competition. This past Sunday (23), Mais Querido world champion, Rebeca Andrade, won gold in the two events she competed in in the Brazilian Trophy of Artistic Gymnastics final. Furthermore, Jade Barbosa won a gold and a silver and Diogo Barbosa shone on the pommel horse.

Rebeca represented Mais Queridoin the national tournament and followed its schedule focusing on the games Olympics, competing only in the uneven bars and beam. Current Olympic gold champion, the athlete spared herself from the series that are most demanding on her knees. This way, she was able to pay attention to the devices she is trying to fight for a medal in Paris.

Jade Barbosa is also focused on the Paris games and presented her solo series . She won the gold medal with 13.333 points after performing to "Baby One More Time", by singer Britney Spears. The silver was promised by Mais Querido Hellen Vitória.

Diogo Soares was another representative of Mais Querido who won gold at the Brazil Trophy. The top-10 of the last world championship was champion of the pommel horse event with 13,300 points.

Despite the highlights of Rubro-Negro, the young promises of Mais Querido also shone. At 15 years old, Larissa Machado was the gold medalist in vault with a score of 12.817. And the silver in the race went to another young athlete: Nicole Campos.

Last Sunday (23), the mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes, confirmed that he signed the decree expropriating the Gasometer land. Thus, this Monday (24), there was confirmation. Published in the municipality's Official Gazette, the document guaranteed good news for Flamengo.

“The property located at Avenida São Cristóvão, number 1200, is declared to be of public utility and interest, for the purposes of expropriation by public auction. Parish of Engenho Velho, registration number 132,299 of the 11th Property Registry Office”, says the Official Gazette.

“The property referred to will be sold by the Municipality for the purposes of urban renewal, through auction bidding, under suspensive conditions acquisition of ownership of the property by the Municipality. The bidding notice will stipulate the conditions of the auction, as well as establish the measures necessary for urban renewal, the execution of which will be the buyer's responsibility”, points out another excerpt from the Diary.

With the publication in the Official Gazette, Flamengo awaits just one more publication, now the bidding notice for the purchase of the land sold by Rio City Hall. The space is managed by an investment fund from Caixa Econômica Federal. However, the bank has not yet responded to Mais Querido's contacts to negotiate the area.

Now, Mais Querido awaits the auction and will have to be approved by the Council Deliberative and the Board of Directors to invest in the purchase of land. Rubro-Negro's idea is to pay 85% of the amount of around R$150 million in cash for the area with the sale of 38 apartments in Morro da Viúva. 

Rebeca Andrade participated in the new Riachuelo campaign to promote the new Barbie movie. The Flamengo gymnast is the 'Barbie' herself, all dressed in pink and with high heels, as is the traditional doll. However, she is also an athlete and does not lose that persona, with the line of gym clothes and a bottle of water.

The campaign is for the sale of utensils that send in the style of the film (roses and the logo) and was released on the Olympic athlete's social networks.

The film is already showing in cinemas across Brazil since Wednesday night.
