Flamengo president Rodolfo Landim took advantage of his trip to London to watch the final Champions League, not only to follow the football spectacle, but also to deal with business that can revolutionize the infrastructure of the club. In a series of meetings with the top management of Allianz, a giant in the German insurance sector, Landim discussed the possibility of a partnership aimed at building a new stadium for Flamengo.

The proposal on the agenda is for Allianz to invest around R$1 billion in the construction of the stadium, in exchange for the naming rights to the arena for 25 years. This type of agreement, known as naming rights, is already common in several stadiums around the world, providing an important source of revenue for clubs. In the case of Flamengo, the favorite name for the new stadium would be Allianz Fla Arena, if the agreement is closed.

GASÔMETRO TEERNO HAS ADVANCES

The land chosen for construction is in Gasometer, in the Port Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The area, currently under negotiation with Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF), is seen as strategic for the club, not only because of its central location and easy access, but also because of the revitalization potential it can bring to the region. The choice of this location is part of Flamengo's broader strategy to become not just a winning team, but a globally recognized brand.

Having its own stadium brings a series of benefits to Flamengo. Firstly, autonomy over your home allows for better management of games and events, increasing revenue from box office, events and concessions. Furthermore, a modern stadium can offer a more complete experience for fans, with better facilities and services, something that is increasingly valued in contemporary football.

This Sunday, Mais Querido will take the field against Athletico for the 28th round of the Brazilian Championship with a mixed lineup. Due to the physical exhaustion of some athletes and with the focus on the semi-final of the Copa do Brasil, which will take place in the middle of the week, coach Tite chose to preserve part of the squad. Eight changes will be made compared to the team that played against Peñarol last Thursday, when CRF was eliminated from the Libertadores.

GABIGOL AS STARTER

Gabigol, number 99, is one of the confirmed starters for the match. The striker will have a new opportunity as a starter after almost two months, repeating his role as a starter in the game against São Paulo, in August. Matheus Gonçalves, a young man who has stood out in recent matches, is also selected for the offensive sector.

Of the athletes who played against Peñarol, only Rossi, Léo Ortiz, Gerson and Plata will start this Sunday's clash. Important names such as Varela, Fabrício Bruno, Léo Pereira, Alex Sandro, De La Cruz, Arrascaeta and Bruno Henrique will be on the bench, ready to enter if necessary.

The CRF formation will have: Rossi in goal ; Wesley, David Luiz, Léo Ortiz and Ayrton Lucas in defense; Pulgar, Alcaraz, Gerson and Matheus Gonçalves in midfield; with Plata and Gabigol forming the attacking duo.

SKILLS AND RETURNS

In addition to Carlinhos' suspension, Expelled in the match against Grêmio, Tite will also be without some important players. Michael, who has already returned to training, will only be available for the game against Corinthians, in midweek. Other absences include Cebolinha, Viña, Pedro and Luiz Araújo.

WHERE TO WATCH

In this way, red and black fans who want to watch another Mais Querido match will only have one option. This is because only Premiere (pay-per-view) will broadcast the game between Flamengo and Athletico-PR.

Even though the lineup has not yet been defined, there is a possibility that Tite will again spare half of the athletes in the Brasileirão. However, it is likely that the coach will reduce the number of reserves, unlike the clash against Grêmio, in which 12 athletes were preserved.

Probable Flamengo lineup: Rossi; Varela (Wesley), Fabrício Bruno (David Luiz), Léo Pereira (Cleiton) and Alex Sandro (Ayrton Lucas); Léo Ortiz (Evertton Araújo), De la Cruz (Pulgar), Arrascaeta (Alcaraz) and Gerson (Lorran); Plata (Matheus Gonçalves) and Bruno Henrique (Gabigol) Coach: Tite.

Probable lineup for Athletico-PR: Mycael; Madson (Léo Godoy), Kaique Rocha, Thiago Heleno and Esquivel; Erick, Christian (Praxedes) and Zapelli; Cuello, Canobbio and Mastriani (Pablo).

Forward Michael is back training at Flamengoafter a period away due to an injury to the hamstring of his right thigh. With his recovery complete, he is already participating in activities with the squad and becomes a possible option for the Rubro-Negro coach in the club's next match, this Sunday (29), against Athletico-PR, in a game valid for the Brazilian Championship. .

Michael's presence in training is already an important step forward, but his inclusion in the list of related players still depends on how he responds to the final training sessions before the match. In the coming days, the coaching staff must evaluate the athlete's physical performance and ability to perform in a high-intensity game. The caution is due to the time Michael spent away, which requires a gradual readjustment to training and the rhythm of the game to avoid new complications.

A NEW STAGE FOR MICHAEL

If it is really related, shirt 30 could bring an interesting offensive alternative to Flamengo. His playing style, marked by speed, dribbling and movement, offers the team a different dynamic in the attacking sector. However, it is necessary to observe how he will behave after his return, considering the need to regain confidence and rhythm after the injury.

The Flamengo coach already has in mind the squad he should use in the Sunday's match, but the possible addition of Michael to the list expands the options, especially at an important moment in the Brazilian Championship, where every point is essential to keep the team at the top of the table. Furthermore, the player's return can help make up for any absences in the attack and add value to the team's tactical system.
