O Bolívar, under command coach Flavio Robatto, is preparing for the next match with practically his entire team available, in contrast to the situation faced by Tite at Flamengo. Robatto will only have one absence: striker Patito Rodríguez, ex-Santos, who is still in the medical department. Patito's absence is the only significant casualty, as the rest of the squad is ready for the clash.

Bruno Sávio and Justiniano, who faced physical problems recently, are recovered and ready to play. This recovery of important players is a positive point for Bolívar, who managed to manage the physical wear and tear on his team well. In the last match, Robatto chose to spare some of his athletes, ensuring that the team arrives in good physical condition for the dispute.

BOLIVAR PLACES THE BEST ON THE FIELD

With a "full tank", Bolívar should enter the field with a solid formation, with Lampe in goal, Jesús Sagredo and José Sagredo on the flanks, Orihuela and Anderson de Jesús in defense. In midfield, Saucedo, Justiniano and Ramiro Vaca should form the trio responsible for dictating the team's rhythm. In attack, the responsibility for finding the net will lie with Bruno Sávio, Oviedo and Fábio Gomes.

The absence of Patito Rodríguez, although felt, should not drastically affect the team's performance, as coach Flavio Robatto managed to structure the team well, ensuring that other players are ready to make up for the striker's lack. The recovery of Bruno Sávio and Justiniano also reinforces this perspective, as both are fundamental pieces in the coach's tactical scheme.

This situation puts Bolívar in a favorable position for the next clash, with a well-prepared and practically complete team, ready to seek victory. Robatto seems to have found a good balance between preserving the physical condition of his players and keeping them competitive, which can be decisive when facing the opponent.

In July this year, Santos showed interest in signing striker Carlinhos, currently at Flamengo. However, a FIFA regulation interrupted negotiations. According to the entity's rules, a player can be registered for up to three different clubs in the same season, but can only play official matches for two of these teams.

FIFA REGULATIONS PREVENT REGISTRATION

Before his arrival at Mais Querido, Carlinhos played for Nova Iguaçu, participating in competitions such as the Campeonato Carioca and the Copa do Brasil. This means that, according to article 5 of FIFA's Regulation on the Status and Transfer of Players, the striker had already played for two clubs during the season, which would prevent him from officially playing for Santos in 2023.

A The only exception provided for in the regulations would be a transfer to a club from an association with the opposite calendar to the Brazilian one, as happens in Europe, where the seasons run from August to July. As the move to Santos does not fit into this situation, the São Paulo club withdrew its interest.

CARLINHOS GETS CHANCES AT MENGÃO

In addition to the regulatory obstacle, Carlinhos also showed no interest in leaving Flamengo. The striker, who started to receive more opportunities under the command of coach Tite, has been used mainly in the absence of Pedro, who is recovering from an injury. The young player has already entered the field in Libertadores and Brasileirão matches, contributing with two important goals against Atlético-MG and Vitória.

With Pedro's injury, Bruno Henrique has been improvised in the center forward position, occupying the starting position at Flamengo . Gabigol, who also competes for Mengão's attack and has already scored four goals this season, remains one of the team's offensive options.

Edmundo, a former player known for his talent and explosive temperament on the pitch, analyzed current football, highlighting athletes who, in his view, have characteristics similar to his, whether in technique or personality. In an interview with the Só Se For Agora podcast, the former striker commented on players who most catch his attention, mentioning names like Gabigol, from Flamengo , and Dudu, from Palmeiras.

During the interview, Edmundo spoke about his admiration for younger and irreverent players. One of the names mentioned was John Kennedy, from Fluminense, champion in 2022. However, the former player was categorical in stating that, although he admires the young man's talent and personality, he believes that his own technique was superior. Another name that caught his attention was Estêvão, a natural dribbler, something that Edmundo himself highlighted as one of his great qualities on the field.

"I'm enchanted by some players, like John Kennedy, for their personality, but technically I was better than him. Estêvão is another, a great dribbler, and I considered myself a natural dribbler", commented the former player.

PRAISE FOR GABIGOL AND DUDU

Among the most experienced players, the former striker mentioned Dudu, from Palmeiras, and Gabigol, from Mais Querido. Edmundo made a point of praising the strong personality and technical quality of both, although he highlighted that each one has a different playing style.

"Dudu is one of the players I like to watch. He plays Palmeiras' number 7, which makes me identify a little with him. Gabigol, from Mengão, is an athlete with a strong personality, very confident in himself, although he has a different style than me, he did some things on the field. which I also did, perhaps even more intensely", commented Edmundo, with good humor.

A CAREER MARKED BY TITLES AND CONTROVERSYEdmundo, also known as "Animal", made history at major Brazilian football clubs, such as Vasco, Flamengo, Palmeiras and Corinthians. His career is marked by moments of genius and an explosive temperament, which often placed him at the center of controversies. The former player was also part of the Brazilian team that was runner-up in the 1998 World Cup.

Tite, current coach of Flamengo, was direct when commenting on the tight calendar of Brazilian football and the idea of sparing players amid the intense sequence of games. In a recent interview, he spared no criticism of the current competition model in the country and made it clear that, contrary to what many suggest, he has no intention of arbitrarily preserving players in decisive moments.

Tite's main criticism revolves around the excess of games throughout the season. The Brazilian calendar is historically tight, with competitions such as the Brazilian Championship, the Copa do Brasil, the Libertadores, and, in years of the World Cup or Copa América, there is still the weight of international team tournaments. This scenario means that clubs, especially the big ones, have to deal with an exorbitant number of matches in a short space of time, which increases the wear and tear on players and, consequently, the risk of injuries.

AN EXCUSE FOR THE "INJURIES"

However, despite this situation, the coach made it clear that it is not in his plans to adopt a strategy of rotating players indiscriminately. "No one spares", said Tite, in response to suggestions that Flamengocould rest its main athletes in some games. He highlighted that sparing athletes without a clear justification, just with the intention of preserving the squad, would be a risky attitude, especially considering the pressure for immediate results in a club of Flamengo's magnitude.

Tite was also emphatic when explaining that, when making decisions about the lineup, he takes into account several factors, including the physical condition of the athletes, the importance of the match and the team's long-term planning. "Am I going to save my job? Put my job at risk?", joked the coach, highlighting that, in a club with pressure and expectations like Flamengo, a bad result can be costly, including a coach's position.

The Brazilian football calendar is one of the most intense in the world. While in many European countries clubs play, on average, between 45 and 50 matches per season, in Brazil this number easily exceeds 70, considering all competitions. Furthermore, long trips between states, climate variations and the difference in the quality of lawns contribute to the wear and tear of athletes.
