After a meeting this past Friday (17), the CBF defined that Brazilian women's football will have another competition on the calendar in 2025. After eight years, the Copa do Brasil will finally return.
It is worth remembering that the first edition of the competition took place in 1994, shortly after women's football was allowed in Brazil again. The last edition was played in 2016. Between 2002 and 2005, there were no editions of the tournament.
Despite defining the return of the Copa do Brasil in the women's football calendar, the CBF has not yet officially announced the award. In total, 64 teams will participate, with 16 representatives from Series A1, 16 from Series A2 and 32 teams from Series A3. Furthermore, the tournament is scheduled to start on May 14th, with the final scheduled for November 19th.
< b>FLAMENGO WOMEN'S CALENDAR IN 2025:
In this way, Meninas da Gávea has a full calendar for 2025. This is because Mais Querido will compete in the Women's Super Cup, which will be played from March 2nd; Brasileirão Feminino, which will start on March 16th and Copa do Brasil, scheduled to start on May 14th.

Flamengo idol Adriano Imperador stated in an interview that he played more than some of the biggest names in world football. With a career marked by talent, physical strength, and humility , "Didico" continues to be fondly remembered by Flamengo fans.
During an appearance on the show Boteco do Chula, Adriano was asked if he had performed at a higher level than stars like Ronaldo, Romário, Ibrahimovic, Mbappé, Lewandowski, and Gabigol . The former player candidly stated that he considers himself superior to some of them.
In the Emperor's opinion, Kyllian Mbappé, Robert Lewandowski, and Gabigol are behind him . However, according to Adriano himself, Romário, Ibrahimovic , and Ronaldo Fenômeno are in a higher tier.
Adriano's most significant connection with the club came in the 2009 Brazilian Championship .
