CBF refutes Flamengo president's accusation regarding Pedro's injury - check it out

Dissatisfied with the team's recent performance, many lost patience and started a campaign calling for Tite to be fired. Recently fired by Al-Nassr, in Saudi Arabia, Luís Castro is seen by some fans as the ideal successor for the position of coach. On social media, the red and black highlights the fact that the Portuguese coach is available on the market.

Under pressure Due to poor results at the start of the Saudi season, Luís Castro was released by Al-Nassr, the team he had led for 14 months. The coach, who also had a spell at Botafogo, left Cristiano Ronaldo's team after a series of negative results.

The coach's situation has worsened in recent weeks, especially after the 4-1 defeat for rival Al-Hilal, owned by Jorge Jesus, in the final of the Saudi Arabian Super Cup. After this setback, Al-Nassr only managed one victory and three draws, which culminated in his dismissal.

Flamengo's board does not intend to fire Tite before the return clash against Peñarol in the quarter-finals of the Libertadores. However, the result in Uruguay could influence the coach's future.

This Friday (20), a meeting is scheduled between the red-black board and Tite, with the aim of analyzing the defeat in the Maracanã and discuss strategies to reverse the score in the second leg. Flamengo's management hopes to find solutions to guarantee classification away from home.

Flamengo has not been able to present good football for some time and doubts about Tite's work have already begun to emerge. For journalist and commentator Gian Oddi, the criticism took a long time to appear, and there is an "unusual generosity" towards the commander.

For the commentator, if it were another coach in Tite's place, without making a star cast surrender, the position of coach would already be in danger and even vacant a long time ago. The journalist still uses Vanderlei Luxemburgo as a comparison to describe the situation.

Pedro is out of Flamengo's season after suffering a serious injury in training with the Brazilian team.
