Forward Gabigol may be living his last days as a Flamengo player. For journalist André Rizek, if number 99 really leaves Rubro-Negro, it will mean the end of one of the greatest love affairs in the history of Brazilian football. The presenter of Seleção SporTV interviewed the player's agent, Júnior Pedroso, this Friday (28), and he did not rule out an immediate departure.
Gabigol's contract, hero of the 2019 and 2022 Libertadores titles, ends in December 31, 2024. However, an early exit is not out of the question. Júnior Pedroso stated that the player and his team feel that Flamengo does not have the desire to renew. This Friday, information leaked that the club had offered another year of contract and a 50% increase in salary, a proposal rejected by the athlete.

Flamengo and Lazio advanced in negotiations to sign midfielder Marcos Antônio. The player, who has already accepted the Rio club's offer, should be signed on loan with an obligation to buy if certain goals are achieved. Despite the impasse, Flamengo is confident that it will find a satisfactory agreement with Lazio and will have Marcos Antônio as a reinforcement in the next transfer window.
Marcos Antônio, 24 years old, is a creation of Athletico-PR's youth teams and a contemporary of Vini Jr in the youth teams. The midfielder has spent time at Estoril, in Portugal, and Shakhtar Donetsk, in Ukraine. He was bought by Lazio in 2023 and loaned to PAOK, from Greece, last season, where he was national champion.
