Cleiton started playing football on normal fields, participating in neighborhood championships in his hometown. These competitions are known to be springboards for many young talents seeking an opportunity in professional football. The first big step in Cleiton's career was participating in a tournament in the backlands of Bahia, where he began to attract attention for his skills as a defender.
A STORY OF OVERCOMING /p>
After standing out in the Bahian tournament, Cleiton had the chance to join Desportivo Brasil. Despite being a small club, known for revealing talents for Brazilian football, Desportivo Brasil was an important stage in the formation of the young player. Cleiton stayed there for five months, where he improved his skills and had his first contact with a more professional training structure.
After his time at Desportivo Brasil, Cleiton returned to the football school where he began his training . It was a period of reflection and intense training, until a new opportunity arose: an evaluation at Figueirense. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned and Cleiton was not accepted into the Santa Catarina club. This moment was one of the most challenging of his career, but he didn't let the frustration get him down.
