Last Wednesday (28) was very special for some young people from Flamengo, in addition to Meninas da Gávea. The grassroots and women's football team participated in an enriching talk with Zico, Rubro-Negro's greatest idol. The DNA Rubro-Negro event took place in a hotel, in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, and included categories from Under-13 to Under-20 B. Under-20 A, however, competes in the Libertadores category, in Uruguay, and did not participate.< The Women's Under-20 was also present, as was the professional squad. Zico gave several pieces of advice to the participants, recalled his career at Flamengo and told how he achieved such success to the point of becoming the greatest idol in Flamengo's history.

Argentine striker Paulo Dybala, 31, has entered Flamengo's radar . According to journalist Jorge Nicola on the Arena SBT program, the Roma player has become the club's new top target for the coming years.
The deal would be supported by Betano, the club's new title sponsor. The company sees Dybala 's signing as not only a significant reinforcement on the field , but also a marketing opportunity with enormous potential returns.
According to Nicola, coach Filipe Luís has already given the green light for the Argentine's possible arrival. After intense days in Porto Alegre, where they faced matches for the Brasileirão and Libertadores , Flamengo decided to give the squad a break this Friday (22). Before that, on Thursday (21), coach Filipe Luís led an activity to maintain the group's concentration right after qualifying in the continental tournament.
The coaching staff understood that the moment called for a balance between effort and recovery . Therefore, they decided to release the players for a day, allowing them physical and mental rest after the grueling sequence of games. No training sessions were scheduled at Ninho do Urubu.
The squad returns this Saturday (23) to begin preparations with an eye on the next commitment in the Brazilian Championship . Filipe Luís will have two days of work to adjust tactical issues and reinforce concepts before defining the starting team.
