After losing Matías Viña for the rest of the season, Flamengo plans to sign a new left back to be Ayrton Lucas' backup. In this way, Rubro-Negro began to probe Argentine Enzo Díaz, from River Plate (ARG).
According to information from journalist Valentin Furlan, Mais Querido showed interest in full-back Enzo Díaz, from River Plate, through intermediaries. However, Rubro-Negro is not the only team interested, as São Paulo is also watching the athlete. The Argentine team agrees to negotiate the player for 4 million dollars (R$ 21.8 million).
As they are competing in three competitions, the Flamengo seeks to reinforce its position for the remainder of the season , as there is only Ayrton Lucas available. Furthermore, Rubro-Negro must complete the sale of Wesley to Atalanta (ITA).
DÍAZ'S SEASONEnzo Díaz only played in Argentine football. The young full-back started at Agropecuario (ARG), where he spent four seasons. Soon after, he was traded to Talleres, where he spent another four years, before arriving at River Plate.
In the Buenos Aires team, Enzo played 70 games. During the period, he scored just one goal and provided seven assists. Highlighting that coach Marcelo Gallardo returned to River Plate and continues to reformulate the Argentine team.
The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.

Flamengo is keeping an eye on the next April transfer window, as it wants to sign another left-back to reinforce the squad throughout the season. The red-black board's concern is due to the call-ups of Ayrton Lucas and Viña for the Brazilian and Uruguay, respectively, during the Copa América. For now, the football department has only carried out informal consultations.
Between April 1st and 19th, Flamengo will have the opportunity to reinforce the team for the next challenges. However, it is important to highlight that the club will only be able to sign players who are playing in Brazil, in a state championship.
With that in mind, Flamengo already has names in its sights. One of them is Enzo Díaz, left-back for River Plate (ARG). So far, there have been no official negotiations between the red and black team and the Buenos Aires team in relation to the 28-year-old player.
Despite the movements in the market, Flamengo has already signed four reinforcements . Nicolás de la Cruz, coming from River Plate (ARG), was the first to arrive. Then, Matias Viña, who was at Roma (ITA), was announced. Léo Ortiz left Red Bull Bragantino to join the team. Finally, Carlinhos, striker from Nova Iguaçu, is the fourth name to join the squad.
However, Flamengo's current focus is on the debut of the Copa Libertadores da América. The team will face Millonarios this Tuesday (02), at 7pm (Brasília time), at the Nemesio Camacho El Campín Stadium, in Bogotá, Colombia.
