The duo Allan and Pulgar will be new in Mengão's midfield

0Without being able to count on De La Cruz and Cebolinha among the starters, coach Tite will have to improvise in the midfield and offensive sector of Flamengo for the decisive clash against Palmeiras.
The coach's strategy will be to reinforce the marking with the midfielder duo Allan and Pulgar, leaving the creation of the plays to Arrascaeta. Furthermore, Tite will repeat the formula that worked in the last duel against Alviverde, choosing Luiz Araújo as a starter.
In search of the fifth Brazilian Cup title, Flamengo visits Palmeiras at Allianz Parque to try to confirm their classification for the quarter-finals of the tournament. In the first game, held a week ago at Maracanã, Rubro-Negro won 2-0, with goals from Pedro and Luiz Araújo.
To guarantee their place, the team led by Tite could even lose by a goal difference. If Palmeiras wins by two goals, the decision will go to penalties. Palmeiras will only advance directly if they win by three or more goals. The match is scheduled for 8pm (Brasília time).
Absences , only Cebolinha traveled with the team to São Paulo and should start the game on the bench. Flamengo's likely lineup to face Palmeiras at Allianz Parque is: Matheus Cunha; Varela, Fabricio Bruno, Léo Pereira and Ayrton Lucas; Pulgar, Allan, Gerson and Arrascaeta; Luiz Araújo and Pedro.
