The Flamengo squad received two days off after the defeat to Grêmio last Wednesday (25). Therefore, this Saturday, the Rubro Negro athletes reappeared at CT Ninho do Urubu this Saturday morning (28) to begin preparation for the match against Santos.

Despite the first defeat under Tite's command, the The climate in Ninho do Urubu remains light. According to GE, Rubro Negro promoted a family get-together on "Flamenguista fan day", which is celebrated on the same date as the club's patron saint, São Judas Tadeu.

The players took their wives and children, who were able to have a snack on site and had a space for fun with a trampoline and inflatable toys. After training, they were able to hit a ball with their parents and other children on one of the CT fields.


The Mais Querido squad will have three more training sessions led by Tite before facing Santos next Wednesday - fair (01). The match will be valid for the 31st round of the Brazilian Championship, at 8pm, at Mané Garrincha, as Maracanã is ceded to Conmebol because of the Libertadores final.


Flamengo has 50 points and is fourth place in the Brasileirão and, as the game against Red Bull Bragantino was postponed, it could lose up to two positions if Athletico - PR and Grêmio won their matches. Mais Querido aims to seek a place in the Libertadores 2024.

This Sunday (22), Flamengo and Grêmio face each other in the 27th round of the Brasileirão, in Porto Alegre. Aiming for the match against Mais Querido, the team from Rio Grande do Sul will not be able to count on coach Renato Gaúcho, Jemerson, Rodrigo Ely, Du Queiroz, Pavón and André Henrique.

This is because Jemerson is suspended due to the accumulation of yellow cards. Rodrigo Ely felt pain after a muscle injury. Du Queiroz carries out activities on the field, but is still recovering from a broken foot. Finally, Pavón and André Henrique are transitioning to the field after injury.

Flamengo went behind on the scoreboard in the first leg against Peñarol, last Thursday (19), when they lost 1-0 at Maracanã. Now, in order to qualify without any fear, Mais Querido will have to score more than one goal in the return match, in Uruguay. Trying to bring positive energy to the Nation, Arrascaeta sent an optimistic message on social media.

On his Instagram, this past Friday (20), the Mais Querido midfielder wrote: “Nothing like a day after another. Until the end.” The phrase was published alongside a photo in the dressing room at Ninho do Urubu, where Mais Querido trained.


Having lost 1-0 at Maracanã, Flamengo will have to score two goals at the Campeón Stadium del Siglo, in Montevideo. If you win with the minimum difference, the match will go to a penalty shootout. However, Peñarol enters the field with the advantage of a draw.


FOCUS ON THE TURNING BACK

Tite and the red-black board defined that the holders of the confrontation against Peñarol but Léo Ortiz is out of the match against Grêmio, for the Brasileirão. The group will stay in Rio de Janeiro for training with a focus on the return game of the Libertadores.

Flamenguista Day was celebrated last Saturday (28) and the Red and Black Nation received tributes from various places, one of which was from England. West Ham, the current team of Ninho's creation, Lucas Paquetá, surprised by paying homage to Mais Querido's fans on social media.

The English team made a post on its official Twitter account congratulating the Rubro Negros for their your day. With a photo of Lucas Paquetá celebrating, West Ham wrote in the caption:  “Happy Flamenguista Day”. The publication was popular and so far the post had 224 thousand views.


October 28th became the date on which Flamengo fans celebrate their relationship with São Judas Tadeu, the club's patron saint. This is because it marks the day of the death of the saint of lost causes. On social media, Mais Querido published a message of faith about the saint.

WEST HAM RETURN TO THE FIELD THIS SUNDAY
