As Flamengo elections are scheduled for December 9th, at the club's headquarters, in Gávea. However, behind the scenes remain busy for weeks in advance. This Friday (26), the ticket of Rodrigo Dunshee, the current candidate, filed an appeal, alleging irregularities in the electoral process.

According to journalist Fred Gomes, Diogo Lemos, pillar of Rodrigo Dunshee's candidacy and current vice-president president of Flamengo's cabinet, was the one who filed the appeal with the Board of Directors. Lemos argues that 12 members who were in default by August 31st, the deadline for settling pending issues, had their regularizations authorized by the Permanent Electoral Commission.

Among the associates mentioned by Diogo Lemos is Rodrigo Tostes, who paid off his debt by the deadline. Tostes was vice-president of finance at Flamengo during the management of Eduardo Bandeira de Mello and is currently an important figure on the ticket of Luiz Eduardo Baptista, Bap, considered the favorite for the presidency of Mais Querido.

“The Electoral Commission, whose composition was modified on purpose by the BAP, when it was already announcing itself as a candidate, allowed, against the rule of Statute, that 12 peoplewho were not even were includedin the List of Voters, after August 31st”, said Diogo Lemos, in contact with 'GE'.

“This The commission even accepted the inclusion of Rodrigo Tostes on the voter list, even though he was in debt to the club on the cut-off date. It is important to highlight that in the 2021 election, Tostes also owed the club, on August 31 of that year, and was unable to vote or be voted for”, he concluded.< /p>
