Nicolás De La Cruz has barely arrived and has already won the hearts of all the fans of Flamengo and commentators. This Sunday afternoon (25), the Uruguayan midfielder stood out once again in Rubro Negro against Fluminense. After the match, the player received praise from commentator Zé Elias, from ESPN, during the F90 program. The journalist made tactical notes on the athlete's performance.
“I think it's going to be Tite's team, it's Tite's style. It's a competitive team that knows what it's doing from the beginning until the end of the game. What was Fluminense's biggest difficulty? He couldn't touch, he just had to touch back. With De La Cruz, Flamengo can have this style of play, which is: lose the ball, everyone comes back”, said Zé Elias.
ZÉ ELIAS IS DELIGHTED WITH DE LA CRUZ
De La Cruz played against Fluminense as a second midfielder and had a great performance on the field. In this way, Zé Elias unraveled the Uruguayan's steal of the ball and the creation of the midfielder for the second goal Mais Querido.
“Flamengo's second goal was spectacular. Heel, speed, I'm a fan of De La Cruz. He steals the ball and passes it to Arrascaeta. It's a competitive, organized team, and the beauty of Tite's team is there. In other words, it is a team that knows what it is doing on the field. You know exactly what to expect from this team”, he pointed out.
COMMENTATOR THINKS FLAMENGO IS WELL COMPACTED
Zé Elias concluded by saying that Flamengois well compacted and that all players are well positioned on the field: “Defense, midfield and attack work together. You rarely see a guy far away from the game. They are all well positioned. Tite's Corinthians had quality, they were a team that knew how to suffer. Not this Flamengo team. He can already defend himself, but at the same time he has a lot of quality and speed in the game”, he concluded.
