Next Sunday, Flamengo takes the field to face Fortaleza at Arena Castelão, in another round of the Brazilian Championship. However, the Rio club will face a Fortaleza team with two confirmed absences. Calebe and Hércules, midfielder and midfielder of the Ceará team, will not be available for the clash. Both are recovering from injuries and will not be able to contribute to the team in the game against Flamengo. These absences represent a challenge for coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda, who will have to find solutions to make up for the lack of two important players in his squad.

Calebe, who played in 21 matches in this year's Brazilian Championship, is not had the opportunity to score goals, but contributed one assist throughout the season. On the other hand, Hércules managed to score a goal in the Brasileirão, although he did not provide passes to his teammates. Their absences will certainly be felt, but Fortaleza will have to adapt and find alternatives to fill these gaps.

Despite these absences, Fortaleza will be able to count on the return of four important players. Titi, Brítez, Bruno Pacheco and Sasha will be available for the match, after having served an automatic suspension in the previous game against Atlético-MG. These returns will be valuable for the team, as they will reinforce the team's defense and midfield. While Fortaleza deals with just two absences, Flamengo faces a more challenging scenario, with six confirmed absences.

Gerson and Bruno Henrique will not be available due to suspensions for red cards received in the previous match. Furthermore, David Luiz and Allan are recovering from injuries and will not be on the field. Wesley and Gabigol are also out, with Wesley suffering from gastroenteritis and Gabigol with pain in the adductor of his right thigh. These absences represent a considerable challenge for coach Tite, who will have to make significant adjustments to his lineup.

The clash between Flamengo and Fortaleza promises to be an exciting battle, with both teams facing challenges in their formations. Fortaleza, despite the absences of Calebe and Hércules, will have four important returns, while Flamengo will have to deal with the absence of six key players. This makes the result of the game even more unpredictable and highlights the importance of the teams' ability to adapt.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, at 4pm (Brasília time), at Arena Castelão, and promises to be a exciting and unpredictable confrontation. Fans of both teams will certainly be eager to see how their teams will deal with the absences and what strategies will be adopted by the coaches to achieve victory. Regardless of the obstacles, football will continue to be a captivating spectacle, and fans eagerly await another exciting clash in the Brazilian Championship.

"Respect is the feeling..." Flamengo has Tite's words echoed behind the scenes with the fans

In an interview given after the defeat of Flamengoto Peñarol, 1-0, coach Tite was direct in responding to the boos received by the fans. The statement, marked by a frank tone, exposed the coach's pragmatic vision in relation to demanding fans and the pressure for results. “I respect the fans’ feelings. Of course I feel that (the boos), I'm human”, said Tite, recognizing the fans' frustration in the face of the setback.

Tite's speech reveals that he understands the role of fans as a fundamental part in the context of a club, especially in a team of great expression like Flamengo. By mentioning that the boos affect him as a human being, the coach demonstrates empathy, but does not fail to highlight that the only way to reverse this situation is with achievements on the field. “It can only be reversed in one way”, pointed out the coach.

THE MISTAKE THAT COSTED EXTREMELY DEARLY

The response reflects the experience of Titein dealing with pressure who follows the command of great teams in Brazilian football. With successful spells at clubs such as Corinthians, Grêmio and the Brazilian national team itself, the coach has a track record that puts him in a position to understand, perhaps like few others, the relationship between performance on the field and fans' expectations. For him, this connection is clear: “Do you know how to win fans? Do you know how I won over the fans of the other clubs I played for? Win an important title”, he declared.

The phrase highlights the centrality of titles in football, especially in mass clubs like Flamengo. In Brazil, the culture of results is intense, and Tite recognizes that fans have a limited tolerance for negative results. Winning titles, for him, is the key to gaining the support of the fans, and anything other than that results in discontent: “If not, bye.”

This last part of Tite's speech summarizes the characteristic impatience of demanding fans like Flamengo. The coach makes it clear that, without obtaining relevant trophies, the relationship with the fans deteriorates quickly. The pressure is constant and is part of the daily life of those who take on the leadership of top teams. Tite seems, however, to be aware of this scenario and how it needs to be faced.

Tite's statement came after a delicate moment for Flamengo. The defeat to Peñarol, at home, in a group stage match of the Copa Libertadores, raised alarm bells for fans and the coaching staff. Flamengo had high expectations for the season, especially after major reinforcements and the arrival of Tite, a coach with wide recognition on the national and international scene.

The pressure on Flamengo is nothing new. The club, which has one of the biggest fans in the world, is known for its high expectations for titles. The expensive squad, made up of renowned players, also increases this demand. Each stumble is widely covered by the media and amplifies the dissatisfaction of part of the fans, who demand immediate results.

CAN IT GO BAD AT THE MOMENT?

The Copa Libertadores, in particular, has a important meaning for Flamengo and its fans. The continental tournament is seen as one of the club's main objectives each season. Any result other than victory can generate dissatisfaction and pressure on the technical committee, as occurred after the setback against Peñarol.

In this context, Tite's speech not only recognizes the fans' dissatisfaction, but also is realistic in relation to what is expected from a club like Flamengo. The demand for titles is part of the package when taking over a club of this size, and the coach seems to be aware of this when he points out that he will only be able to win the support of the fans with significant victories.

The Flamengo was fined by Conmebol due to incidents with his fans during the match against Bolívar, held on August 15, at Maracanã, in the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores. The club was punished based on in article 12.2 c) of the Conmebol Disciplinary Code, which prohibits the use of flares, fireworks or any type of pyrotechnics in stadiums. Furthermore, Flamengo was included in article 27, which provides for more severe penalties for clubs that repeat infractions of this nature. This is not the first incident of its kind involving Flamengo fans, which contributed to the decision to impose a significant fine.

VALUES DISCLOSED

The value The total fine was set at US$20,000 (equivalent to R$110,400). Furthermore, Conmebol ordered Flamengo to pay an additional US$13,300 (around R$73,600) to cover expenses related to hospitality space during the game, a responsibility that, according to article 4.2.13 of the Libertadores Club Manual, is from the home club.

These infractions are considered serious, especially in international tournaments such as the Libertadores, where Conmebol adopts a strict stance to guarantee security and order in the stadiums.
