On Thursday morning, the anxiety that hovered over the Red-Negra Nation was dispelled: Cristiane, a talented striker, had her registration made official in the CBF's Daily Newsletter (BID). The long-awaited green light puts her on the field for Flamengo's debut this season, facing Fluminense this Saturday (3) in the Copa Rio.

The player's regularization process was marked by meticulous procedures and, sometimes distressing for the fans. Expectations have grown in recent days, fueled by Cristiane's stunning performance in training and the need to reinforce the attack following the departure of some key players.

Cristiane's presence, with her vast international experience and track record of goals, brings a new dimension to Flamengo. His name is already synonymous with technical quality and a keen eye for goal, characteristics that could be fundamental to the team's ambitious goals this season.

The debut against Fluminense, in addition to being a classic that stirs the heart fans, takes on even more special features with the confirmation of Cristiane's registration. The expectation surrounding the striker's performance in the competition is enormous, and the Rubro-Negra Nation is eager to see its new star shine in Flamengo's colors.

The coach, in an exclusive interview, expressed satisfaction with the regularization of the player. "Cristiane is an exceptional athlete, and her integration into the team strengthens our quest for titles. We are confident that she will add a lot to the group, and her presence in the debut is a reason for optimism for all of us", he stated.

This is a moment of celebration for the fans, who can now count on another quality player in the Flamengo squad. The positive energy around the club intensifies, fueling hope for a season full of achievements. Now we just have to wait for the starting whistle next Saturday, when Flamengo will take the field to face Fluminense.

The sparkle in the fans' eyes reflects not only the rivalry intrinsic to football, but the certainty that Cristiane's presence adds a special chapter to the club's trajectory. Let the game come, let the season come, let the victories come. The Rubro-Negra Nation is ready to vibrate, because Flamengo, now with Cristiane, is ready to enchant.

Speculated as a possible reinforcement of Flamengo to fill the gap left by Pedro, striker Anthony Martial is free on the market, but has not played since December 9, 2023. On that occasion, Manchester United, his former club, entered the field to face Bournemouth and lost 3-0 in the Premier League. Martial was a starter and played for 56 minutes.

At the beginning of the year, the French striker suffered a groin injury that required surgery. Therefore, he was away for around 42 days, only returning in March. Even though there were three months left on his contract, Manchester United chose to let go of the player. Since then, Martial has been evaluating his next club and Flamengo is paying attention to his movements.

Just like Flamengo, Anthony Martial suffered from injuries in 2023/24. The star had several physical problems that kept him away from the field for a total of 60 days. Due to muscle pain, the player was not available for United in 12 matches last season.

Status of the deal between Flamengo and Anthony Martial

If the If Flamengo is really interested in the Frenchman, they will have to race against time and agree on the signing by Monday (9). Registration for free players is closing. According to Italian journalist Luca Bendoni, who works at the Gianluca Dimarzio portal, the deal could come to fruition soon.

Offered to Flamengo by his staff, Martial also had a drop in his personal numbers. In the 2022/23 season, the player scored six goals and provided two assists in the Premier League. In 2023/24, it was just one goal and no pass that resulted in the ball in the opponents' net.
