FlaBasquete's victory over Franca, away from home, last Thursday night (6) guaranteed another game between the teams. At Maracanãzinho, the team came from behind in the first game. Thus, if Franca asserted both court commands, he would keep the cup. But with Flamengo tying the best-of-five series, game 4 is guaranteed.
Game five will only happen if game 4 ends with two wins for each team in the series, forcing game five, too. in Maracanãzinho. Game 3 will still happen and determines who comes with an advantage for this match.
But there is a problem for this game 4. It is scheduled for the same day as Flamengo x Grêmio, in the Brazilian Football Championship, at Maracanã. The game takes place next Thursday, June 13th, starting at 8pm (Brasília time).
Flamengo x Franca, in turn, is scheduled for 6:30pm. Thus, the match would end very close to the start of the football game, which could keep some fans away from the basketball game. Furthermore, if Mengão is champion on the day, with the award of the cup, these fans' access to Maracanã could be delayed.
Visiting fans access Maracanã in an area close to Maracanãzinho
Another point of conflict is fan access. This is because the visiting sector is very close to Maracanãzinho, and Grêmio fans enter through Access B, while the gym is at the end of the street, just beyond.
This means that at the end of the match between Flamengo and Franca, there could be a meeting between Mengão fans and Grêmio fans accessing Maracanã.
Another detail is that the access street for visitors is usually isolated, and fans wearing Flamengo shirts cannot access it , with bars and security guards controlling it. This makes it unlikely that the basketball game time will be maintained, as the Red and Blacks would not even be able to pass through the venue to get to Maracanãzinho.
Flamengo works due to a change in schedule
Flamengo has already opened ticket sales for the game against Franca, but the time is not yet definitive. According to Garrafão Rubro-Negro, the club is working internally to make a change possible that does not harm fans who want to watch basketball and football.
Therefore, in the next few days, the club may publish news about the game 4 of the NBB final, and there may be a change in the match time. For now, there is nothing official and fans are already buying tickets at https://flamengo.superingresso.com.br/#!/home.
