Overwhelming happiness and gratitude were the keywords to describe the feeling of Matías Viña, Uruguayan left-back, upon winning his first title wearing the shirt of Flamengo. In a season full of challenges and ups and downs, Viña expressed his excitement at being part of the red and black group that achieved glory.

"It's an indescribable feeling to lift this trophy with my teammates. We worked hard and We faced many adversities along the way, but we always maintained our unity and determination", said Viña in an exclusive interview after the match.

The player, who arrived at Flamengo with great expectations, highlighted the importance of group cohesion throughout the season. "From the first day, I realized that there was a very strong team spirit at this club. Everyone helps each other, everyone supports each other, and that makes all the difference in decisive moments", he added.

During the campaign towards to the title, Viña was a key player in the defense and also contributed with crucial assists and goals. His quick adaptation to Flamengo's style of play and his commitment to the team were recognized not only by the fans, but also by the coaching staff and his teammates.


"Flamengo fans are passionate and demanding, and this motivates us to always do our best. I feel honored to be part of this story and to be able to return some of the affection I receive", highlighted Viña, visibly moved. In addition to the sporting achievement, the title represents a personal milestone in the career of Matías Viña, who sees Flamengo as not just a club, but a family.
