The Copa América starts this Thursday (20) with the duel between Argentina and Canada, at 9 pm. In total, 229 clubs contributed players to the competition and there is one Brazilian in the list of the top ten, Flamengo. Bolavip's survey shows the top 10 in number of athletes and the updated market value of the group of players sent. See this information and other curiosities in the list below:
1st Bolívar (Bolivia) - 9 players
Base of the Bolivian team, the club they will face Flamengo in the round of 16 of the Libertadores is the one that sent the most players to the Copa América 2024, with nine in total. They are all Bolivian and the one with the highest market value is attacking midfielder Ramiro Vaca, aged 24, who has a market value of 466 thousand reais.
2nd America (Mexico) - 7 players
Unlike Bolívar, América's squad for the tournament are of different nationalities. There are two Mexicans, two Chileans, two Uruguayans and one Paraguayan.
3rd Deportivo Saprissa (Costa Rica) - 7 players
Another team that serves as base for a smaller team, Saprissa has six athletes in the Costa Rica team, which will face Brazil in its debut. There is also a player who plays for the Panama national team.
4th Herediano (Costa Rica) - 6 players
Another Costa Rican team that is a pillar of the national team national team, Herediano has six athletes called up from the country. However, together with Saprissa, they have the lowest market values in the top 10.
5th Porto (Portugal) - 5 players

In a press conference at Ninho do Urubu, goalkeeper Agustín Rossi spoke about his desire to be called up to the Argentina national team , the current world champion. Despite his dream, the goalkeeper made it clear that his priority remains Flamengo.

"I'm in no rush, because my job is for Flamengo , day to day, game to game. My biggest focus is to maintain this streak so that the call-up can come. Of course I have that desire, but I don't treat it as a requirement . I'm Flamengo's goalkeeper, I'm responsible for Flamengo. If the call-up comes, I'll welcome it," he added.
Since joining Flamengo in 2023, Rossi has already won four titles. Last season, he was a key player in the undefeated Carioca Championship and also played in the Copa do Brasil victory. In 2025, he maintained his starting spot in the Supercopa do Brasil and the Campeonato Estadual . In total, he has represented Flamengo in 125 official matches, establishing himself as a pillar of the team.

Back in Brazilian football, Neymar still divides opinions about his future at Santos . During a debate on ESPN Brasil, former player Zinho compared the Santos number 10 to Flamengo's Arrascaeta , which sparked disagreement from Zé Elias. Flamengo Women have a decisive challenge this Wednesday (17), at 6 pm (Brasília time), against São Paulo, at Morumbis stadium. The match, valid for the round of 16 of the Women's Brazil Cup , will be played in a single game. Whoever wins will advance directly to the next phase of the national competition, which returned to the Brazilian football calendar after a nine-year absence.
