The decision of the Anti-Doping Sports Justice Court (TJD-AD) to define that Gabigol will have to serve a two-year suspension was published in the ruling this Wednesday (27). O Flamengo was waiting for this document to advance the legal movement in order to achieve a suspensive effect or even acquittal.

There is the expectation that the request for Gabigol's suspensive effect be requested at the beginning of next week. The process will not be simple and therefore it will take time for the next step to occur. Furthermore, the lawyers' main objective is to completely acquit the player.
UNDERSTANDING THE CASEGabigol received a two-year sentence for having been accused of defrauding the anti-doping test and was framed under article 122 of the Brazilian Anti-Doping Code, which refers to "fraud or attempted fraud of any part of the control process". Therefore, the Court understands that almost one year of the sentence has already been served. In other words, the player will only be able to return to the pitch on April 8, 2025.
According to the complaint, Gabigol treated the team of examiners poorly, delayed the urine collection process, among other issues. On the other hand, the attacker defended himself and promised to prove his innocence in the case.
MISSELLING IN CARIOCAWhile Gabigol's case is not resolved, the attacker will not be able to play for Mais Querido . This is because he is prohibited from going to CT Ninho do Urubu and Gávea. Therefore, he will not be able to be present in the match against Nova Iguaçu, next Saturday (30).

Ticket sales for the first leg of the CONMEBOL Libertadores quarter-finals, between Flamengo and opponent still to come to be defined, starts this Monday (9), at 10am. The game will be held on September 19th, at 7pm, at Maracanã. Nação fan members will have priority to purchase through the official website (flamengo.superingresso.com.br).
For the match, all fans who buy tickets online, in any sector of the stadium, will need to use registered facial biometrics to access Maracanã. No other means of access will be permitted for tickets purchased digitally. In addition, fans must have their original documents with photo upon entry.
Access to the stadium's security perimeter will be controlled by a dynamic QR code generated by the application Fla Tickets. Access to the interior of Maracanã will be done through facial biometrics.
