Wilmar Roldán was another opponent that Rubro-Negro had to face
|
0Flamengo and Bolívar faced each other last Thursday night (15), in the first game of the round of 16 of the Libertadores. Mais Querido won by the score of 2-0, but had to play against their opponents and referee Wilmar Roldán. This is because, throughout the confrontation, the referee spared the Bolivians cards and, in addition, showed little tolerance towards Rubro-Negro.
Right at the beginning of the match, Roldán let the game run its course, without calling any fouls. However, as the match progressed, the referee's criteria changed, causing Bolívar's players to make the match more "truncated". In some of them, the referee didn't even give the infraction. However, for Mais Querido's side, the infraction was flagged and a yellow card was applied.
Flamengo's defense even suffered from Roldán's criteria. De La Cruz and Erick Pulgar received yellow cards and complained a lot. The Uruguayan midfielder even spoke effusively to the judge.
SMALL ADVANTAGE FOR THE LIBERTADORES GAMEWith the 2-0 victory against Bolívar, Flamengo takes it to La Paz a small advantage. However, Mais Querido will have to face an altitude of more than 3000 meters and arbitration. Thus, Rubro-Negro is now turning on the warning signal to take precautions and be able to advance to the next stage.
FOCUS ON THE NEXT CONFRONTATIONSo, after the Libertadores match, Flamengo returns attention to the game against Botafogo, for the Brasileirão. The teams face each other next Sunday (18), at 6:30 pm.

Striker has been cornered at Mais Querido

0Recovering from muscular fibrosis, Gabigol was not included in the match between Grêmio and Flamengo, scheduled for this Sunday (22), at 6:30 pm, at the Arena. Recently, news emerged on social media that worried red and black fans, suggesting that the striker would no longer be involved until the end of his contract. However, a source close to the board confirmed that this information is unfounded. The information is from the 'Mundo Rubro-Negro' portal.
Thus, Gabriel Barbosa will be listed by Tite again as soon as he is 100% recovered from fibrosis. According to the club, this condition is not considered an injury, but rather a complication that may arise during the muscle healing process. Gabigol felt discomfort in his thigh when he returned for the classic against Vasco last weekend.
Even with the possibility of counting on Gabigol, Tite sees him as the third option for the attack, behind Bruno Henrique and even Carlinhos, formerly of Nova Iguaçu: “Carlinhos was decisive against Bolívar, Atlético-MG, Vitória. That was why this option was made (instead of the number 99). We scored the goal with Carlinhos on the field”, said the coach after the draw with Vasco, last Sunday (15).
Since his arrival at Flamengo in 2019, Gabigol has won two Brazilian titles, two Libertadores, one Copa do Brasil, four Cariocas, one Recopa and two Supercups.
