0Flamengo's elections have a date to take place: December 9, 2024. However, the day is a Monday, a situation that caused outrage among the club's political groups. This Friday (09), 'FlaFut' and 'Flamengo sem Fronteiras' issued notes of repudiation against the decision after confirmation.
“FLAFUT regrets that the President of the FLAMENGO General Assembly has The election date was set for December 9th – Monday. What is most impressive is that holding an election on a weekend has always been a personal priority of Mr. Carlos Henrique, and that it has already been taking place for two elections”, says an excerpt from the 'FlaFut' note.
The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.

0Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.

Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. "The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."

New hires will only be able to enter the field from July 13th

0Brazil's transfer window opens next Wednesday -Friday (10), but this does not mean that the clubs will be able to count on their respective reinforcements immediately. They may have to wait until the 17th round of the Brasileirão to promote debuts.
The CBF has standardized the registration of new athletes, starting only on July 11th (Thursday). Between the 10th and 11th the 16th round of the Brazilian Championship will take place. Therefore, reinforcements will only be able to go to the field from July 13th, when the 17th round begins. Bahia, Cuiabá, Cruzeiro and Red Bull Bragantino play on this date.
Most clubs, however, will need to wait around a week to count on their reinforcements. Six Brasileirão matches take place between the 16th and 17th of July.
The transfer window is open until September 2nd and covers all national and international transfers to clubs in Series A and B of the Brasileirão. This is the second and final period for signing players.
