Last week, Gabriel Barbosa, Gabigol, announced a significant change in his career at Flamengo: the exchange of number 10 for the 99 shirt. In an exclusive interview with journalist André Hernan, from UOL, the striker shared his expectations and reflected on the importance of this change for both him and the fans.
Gabigol explained that the choice of number 99 was not random. "10 always had an owner at Flamengo and always will: Zico", stated the player, making clear his respect for the club's history and the idols that preceded him. The decision to grant the interview to Hernan, in a controlled and direct manner, aimed at greater authenticity in his words, without intermediaries or distortions.
GABIGOL APOLOGIZES TO THE FANS AND OPENS THE GAME < The attacker did not hide his excitement about the new phase that is beginning. "I hope it will be an even more successful new version," he said, confidently. The change in number comes with a series of expectations, both from Gabigol and the fans. He recognizes the weight of responsibility, but also sees this as an opportunity to renew and expand his personal brand within Flamengo.

Santos has been approached by a group of businessmen interested in buying the home field for the match against Flamengo. The duel is scheduled for July 16, in the Brasileirão. The proposal foresees that the game will be held at the Castelão Stadium, in São Luís, Maranhão. The negotiation, however, depends on the response of the São Paulo club.
NEYMAR'S PRESENCE IS DETERMINANT FOR THE VALUE
The value of the offer varies depending on Neymar's presence . If the star is on the field, Peixe would receive R$3 million. Without Neymar, the offer would drop to R$1.5 million. Organizers estimate an average ticket price of R$200 for the event.
RETURN TO CASTELÃO
This season, Flamengo has already played at the Castelão Stadium, in Maranhão . On that occasion, the team led by Cléber dos Santos and with an alternative cast crushed Bangu by 5 to 0. In the other duel, the red-black ended up being defeated by 2 to 1, by Nova Iguaçu.

Kauã Santos , a product of Ninho do Urubu, has been one of the biggest stars of Eintracht Frankfurt (GER). Thus, the former Flamengo player has attracted the interest of Manchester United (ENG) and Tottenham (ENG) , who have already contacted the team that holds the youngster's rights.
According to information from the German newspaper Bild, Manchester United and Tottenham have spoken with Eintracht Frankfurt 's sporting director, Markus Krösche. The clubs' idea is to understand the German team's plans and also try to sign the young goalkeeper.
REQUIRED VALUES
With his contract renewed last season, with a link extended until 2030, Kauã Santos will not leave the German club for a low fee. This is because Eintracht Frankfurt is asking for amounts above 60 million euros (R$ 395.3 million).

Last Wednesday (16), the Red-Black Nation was unable to attend the Maracanã in large numbers due to the high ticket prices. However, the red-blacks did not disappoint and watched the Mais Querido's rout on TV Globo, which broke the audience record for the 2025 Brasileirão.
According to information from UOL, the previous mark in Ibope in Rio de Janeiro was Grêmio 0 x 2 Flamengo , last Sunday (13), when Globo had 25 audience points. However, Flamengo 6 x 0 Juventude, had an average of 30 points, with 48% of the share of televisions turned on.
It is worth highlighting that Flamengo x Juventude was the first game broadcast on Wednesday night by Globo in the 2025 Brasileirão. Previously, the middle of the week was reserved for the Libertadores clashes.
RESULTS OF OTHER GAMES SHOWN BY GLOBO
TV Globo also broadcast this past Wednesday (16), in São Paulo, Santos x Atlético-MG , and also achieved a record in the capital of São Paulo. With Neymar as the main attraction, the channel obtained 17 points with the broadcast, surpassing the previous record in the region, which was 15, in a three-way tie: Palmeiras x Botafogo, Atlético-MG x São Paulo and São Paulo x Cruzeiro.
THE NEXT 2 GAMES WILL NOT BE BROADCAST ON GLOBO
Now, Flamengo will only be shown again on TV Globo on April 27, when it hosts Corinthians. Until then, Mais Querido, which faces Vasco on Saturday (19) and LDU on Tuesday (22), will have their matches broadcast through Prime Video, a streaming channel, and ESPN, a closed channel, respectively.
