Santos and Botafogo fell in embrace in the Brasileirão Feminino with a 1-1 draw this Sunday morning, in Vila Belmiro, in the penultimate round of the first phase.
As Sereias da Vila, two-time Libertadores champions (2009 and 2010) and who had Marta and Cristiane in their heyday, were winning until the 47th minute of the second half, when Nathane scored with a header after a free kick, equalizing the score and sealing the relegation of both teams - before, two minutes into the final stage, Karla Alves had scored for Santos.
Whoever won would be able to survive to the final round. With the result, the teams reached 11 points, with no chance of reaching Real Brasília-DF, the first team out of the relegation zone, with 16 points. Santos, in 13th, and Botafogo, in 14th, join second-placed Avaí Kindermann, with seven, and Atlético-MG, with just one point, as the teams relegated in the Brasileirão Feminino.
Just fulfilling In the table, Santos ends its participation against Internacional, away from home, while Botafogo says goodbye to the national elite against América-MG, which is still fighting for a place in the quarter-finals. The final round games are scheduled for Wednesday, at 3pm.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.
Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."
