The refereeing of the match between Flamengo and Corinthians this past Wednesday (2) missed some suspicious moves and even a penalty for Mais Querido . After the confrontation, the red and black director, Marcos Braz, cited the "crying" of the São Paulo team as a factor that put pressure on the referee and contributed to a "shameful" arbitration.
“It's pressure, a problem with Corinthians' logistics. They meow like hell, they keep crying. Everyone comes under pressure and it's this arbitration. It's ugly for Brazilian football. They are putting Brazilian football in a shameful direction in relation to refereeing. But nobody does anything. The worst thing in the world is to start losing your criteria. That's what happened. Disgraceful arbitration, no one can take it anymore and we don’t know where it will end”, said Marcos Braz in the mixed zone of Maracanã.
Beyond Marcos Braz , Bruno Spindel executive director of Mais Querido, compared Héctor Hernández's handball after Bruno Henrique's header with the São Paulo x Botafogo play in which a penalty was awarded.
“Brazilian arbitration has no criteria. The bid was the same as that of São Paulo and Botafogo (for the Libertadores). You will see that an identical play will happen, with the same referee or the same VAR, and they will give the penalty”, said Spindel.
EXPERT REVEALS THAT FLAMENGO HAD AN UNSCORED PENALTY
Referee commentator PC Oliveira analyzed the play in question and revealed that Flamengo had an unmarked penalty. PC also compares Héctor's touch with São Paulo x Botafogo, as does Spindel.

Flamengo released this Wednesday (17) an update on the clinical condition of midfielder Erick Pulgar . The player suffered a serious injury in June, after a clash with Harry Kane during the Club World Cup round of 16 clash against Bayern Munich.
Pulgar had to be replaced immediately and taken to the hospital. After more than two months away, the Chilean returned to the club's Training Center , where he is undergoing physiotherapy work on the pitch.
Flamengo reported that, this Wednesday (17), all players trained on the field. Erick Pulgar continues with physiotherapy activities on the lawn, as previously announced . The athlete may return to the club next month.
Alex Sandro and Jorginho, also injured, are in the transition phase and are completing conditioning exercises under the supervision of physiotherapists. Both remain unavailable for Filipe Luís's squad. The rest of the group trained normally.
