On Thursday night (14), there was a meeting of Flamengo's Deliberative Council (CoDe) at the club's headquarters, in Gávea. The Councilors voted on three proposals for statutory amendments, but one specific request was the cause of much confusion. In an interview with Coluna do Fla, Cacau Cotta, current director of external relations at Rubro Negro, detailed the meeting.
Cacau Cotta says that the first amendment was approved unanimously, the second vote was rejected as it was the amendment of term extension, in the third and final vote, when it came to public positions, there was great confusion and people did not understand who was voting for or against.
"In the first vote, Financial Planning ( triennial or quadrennial) was approved unanimously, and Flamengo only benefits from that. In the second vote, the general vice-president (Rodrigo Dunshee) voted in favor of 3+3 years, and Landim himself said he no longer wanted one year for him, so it was rejected (the proposal for a single four-year term). But in the last vote, when it came to public positions, there was a lot of confusion, a lack of respect, and people didn't understand who was voting for or against. So, there was no winner or loser", Cacau told the Coluna do Fla report.
The president of Flamengo's Deliberative Council, Antônio Alcides, went so far as to declare the result that rejected the proposed amendment to veto politicians, but the Councilors from Landim's political group and the opposition got excited and took the floor at the meeting. Antônio even tried to redo the election to have more clarity in the count, but the session was already incomplete. The counselor heard many shouts of "dumb", "dumb". Soon the session was suspended, and the vote will be rescheduled.
"There was so much shouting, there was so much confusion in this political part, because it was an extremely political vote, which had nothing to do with Flamengo [...] What is not part of it is the confusion. With the confusion, the vote was suspended. That's what I heard from President Alcides, that's what I could hear in the face of all the shouting, with all the lack of respect", said Cacau, before complete:
"He (Alcides) was called “stupid”, as if he were a football coach, by the opposition. There was a lot of excitement, things were not clear […] When the political part arrives This is where there is the big fight, because there are personal interests", explained Cacau Cotta to Coluna do Fla.
There were three votes on proposals for amendments. The first, on the creation of a three-year financial plan, was approved, and the next administration will already have to practice it. The second, which would increase the term of office from three to four years and eliminate re-election, was rejected by a large number of councilors. However, the election to suggest a veto to politicians was annulled and will be rescheduled.

The clash between Flamengo and Grêmio, held this Sunday (31) at Maracanã, for the 22nd round of the Brazilian Championship , ended in a 1-1 draw. Mais Querido opened the scoring early in the final stage, with Arrascaeta finishing after a good exchange of passes. However, in the decisive stretch , Tiago Volpi converted a penalty and guaranteed the draw for the visitors.
In the first half, Filipe Luís 's team dominated, maintaining possession and pressuring the opposing defense. Pedro and Léo Pereira created good opportunities, forcing Volpi into crucial saves, and Noriega blocked a shot almost on the line .
