Last Tuesday (16), Marcos Brazhas decided not to continue as Flamengo's vice-presidency of football in 2025, even if the situation wins the election at the end of the year. Rodolfo Landim's name for his succession is that of his current vice general, Rodrigo Dunshee de Abranches. In this sense, the red-black presidential candidate does not intend to convince Braz to continue at the club.
In response to journalist Mauro César Pereira, Dsunhee replied:
"We respect the position Marcos. Our football is very well organized, we won countless titles and important victories. When we didn't win, we competed for many other titles until the end and this is the envy of all the clubs in Brazil. Flamengo's Regatas is ready and mature to continue without Marcos' collaboration. We can and must always improve, but it is necessary to recognize the advances and achievements of the Landim management. even for selection recently, which only reinforces the professionalism and competence of our employees. Several Uruguayan newspapers covered the tie between Flamengo and Vasco this Sunday (15). “We believe in the end. There were four hired at the beginning of the year, four now. We raised the hypothesis of bringing in a striker, but we understood, talking to everyone, that it was bringing someone to actually solve it”, began Braz after Flamengo 1 x 0 Bahia.
