Maracanã hosted the game Solidarity Football, designed to raise funds for flood victims in Rio Grande do Sul. After the match, which featured Adriano Imperador, Filipe Luís, Diego Ribas, Pet, etc., the President Rodolfo Landim was approached by journalists and answered questions regarding Flamengo's stadium.

President of the club, Landim was present as it was an event in collaboration with Flamengo, the stadium's manager. On the Paparazzo Rubro-Negro channel, the president assured that Mengão will meet with Caixa Econômica Federal on Monday (27). The meeting will take place to continue discussing the purchase of the Gasologista land, where Mengo plans to build its own stadium.

“It's progressing. We have a meeting tomorrow to agree on another process of how this will evolve. Who are the responsible people, establish dates. The project is progressing well, we are optimistic that we will reach the end with the success of this process”, reveals the president of Flamengo.

According to O Globo, Flamengo has already signed a confidentiality agreement with Caixa. Furthermore, the parties would be getting very close to a fair value for the purchase of the land.

Rodolfo Landim comments on Bruno Spíndel's trip to Europe

A Spíndel's trip to the Old Continent moved the news, since what is understood is that the manager went to make some contacts and map the market for the middle of the year. But Landim disagreed and said that Bruno was just completing one stage of a course.

“Bruno went to take a course at the weekend, at FIFA. He has been doing it for some time, one stage in this period is now in Switzerland. Nothing more than that. The window is taking a while, it will be soon for us”, he responds, ignoring the question about Michael's possible return.

Another point addressed by Rodolfo Landim was the event itself. The president of Mengão commented on how everything was organized and highlighted the good cause.

“We are contributing through the management of Maracanã. When we received the idea, which came from Luciano Huck, we were happy. Active football can greatly help any problem.
