With the aim of promoting the development of society through sport, Eletrobras renewed its sponsorship of the Flamengo Olímpico - Aquatics and Artistic project. Since 2014, the Company has supported, through the Sports Incentive Law, the project formed by Olympic athletes from different sports.
Through Eletrobras Furnas, the initiative provides training and adequate infrastructure for the practice of activities sports, encouraging the participation of athletes in regional, national and international championships.

Created in 2013, the Flamengo Olímpico project serves approximately 400 beneficiaries, with athletes between 6 and 38 years old, practicing swimming, water polo, artistic swimming and artistic gymnastics. The current team includes athletes at different stages of their career, including already established names such as Jade Barbosa, Flavia Saraiva, Lorrane Oliveira and Rebeca Andrade in women's Gymnastics, as well as Diogo Soares in men's Gymnastics, also including sprint swimmer Guilherme Caribé and partner in swimming, Murilo Sartori, among others.
“Flamengo is the largest multi-sport club in the country, forming citizens into great Olympic idols, playing a fundamental social role.
