According to JM Neto, the Bahia club, which constantly seeks to reinforce its squad, is keeping an eye on striker Tetê, currently at Galatasaray. The player, with remarkable experiences in the Premier League, where he played for Leicester, and in Ligue 1, defending the colors of Lyon, may be about to return to Brazilian football.

The news gained prominence in the sports news recently , bringing Tetê's name to the discussion table of Rio football. To date, however, Flamengo, the main representative of this scenario, has not made any official contact with the Turkish club. Flamengo's focus on finding reinforcements for the right side of the offensive sector is evident. After frustrated attempts to sign Gustavo Scarpa and Luiz Henrique, the Rio board remains focused on finding a player with characteristics similar to those of the former Grêmio striker.

The possible movement in the market is, in part, , due to dissatisfaction with the Brazilian's latest performances at Galatasaray. Discontent opens space for negotiations, and Flamengo, attentive to these nuances, can be a protagonist in this scenario. Tetê's talent, combined with his international experience, could add quality to Flamengo's squad.

Being a key player in the search for solidity in the offensive sector. It now remains to be seen whether the Rio club will take the initiative to formalize its interest in the player and begin negotiations with Galatasaray. The outcome of this possible transfer is eagerly awaited by fans, eager for news that could strengthen Flamengo's squad and contribute to the challenges that the season holds.

Bahia, in turn, once again demonstrates its acumen in the market, observing opportunities that can positively impact the team's performance on the field. Football, always unpredictable, has yet another intriguing plot for fans of the most popular sport in Brazil.

Speculated as a possible reinforcement of Flamengo to fill the gap left by Pedro, striker Anthony Martial is free on the market, but has not played since December 9, 2023. On that occasion, Manchester United, his former club, entered the field to face Bournemouth and lost 3-0 in the Premier League. Martial was a starter and played for 56 minutes.

At the beginning of the year, the French striker suffered a groin injury that required surgery. Therefore, he was away for around 42 days, only returning in March. Even though there were three months left on his contract, Manchester United chose to let go of the player. Since then, Martial has been evaluating his next club and Flamengo is paying attention to his movements.

Just like Flamengo, Anthony Martial suffered from injuries in 2023/24. The star had several physical problems that kept him away from the field for a total of 60 days. Due to muscle pain, the player was not available for United in 12 matches last season.

Status of the deal between Flamengo and Anthony Martial

If the If Flamengo is really interested in the Frenchman, they will have to race against time and agree on the signing by Monday (9). Registration for free players is closing. According to Italian journalist Luca Bendoni, who works at the Gianluca Dimarzio portal, the deal could come to fruition soon.

Offered to Flamengo by his staff, Martial also had a drop in his personal numbers. In the 2022/23 season, the player scored six goals and provided two assists in the Premier League. In 2023/24, it was just one goal and no pass that resulted in the ball in the opponents' net.

Work began in the gym, where the players carried out activities of bodybuilding, activation and physical conditioning. Afterwards, the team went to the field for technical training under the command of coach Rogério Ceni.

TECHNICAL TRAINING WITH FOUR TEAMS

On the pitch, Ceni divided the players into four groups for technical training. The teams faced each other in relays, seeking to improve ball control, positioning and movement on the field.

The Esquadrão de Aço goalkeepers participated in specific training with the goalkeeper trainer, focusing on reflexes, positioning and defenses.
