Last Sunday (20), the Red-Black crowd celebrated with the Mais Querido. At Couto Pereira, Flamengo overcame Coritiba by 3-2 in the 20th round of the Brasileirão. As if the happiness of winning wasn't enough, the duel was even more special for marking Pedro's 200th match at Rubro-Negro. On social networks, the club did not hesitate to honor the striker.
“And Pedro made history once again. Upon entering the field today, he completed 200 games with the Sacred Mantle! Here's to many more games, many more goals, many more achievements! We love you, P9!” During that period, the striker accumulated seven titles with the sacred mantle. In its collection, the number 9 shirt has two Carioca Championships (2020 and 2021), a Brazilian Super Cup (2020), a South American Recopa (2020), a Brasileirão (2022), a Libertadores (2022) and a Copa do Brasil (2022).
In his 200th match for Mengão, Pedro reached the milestone with a golden key when he left the stadium victorious. This Monday (21st), the striker and the entire Red-Black squad will be able to enjoy a break before returning to training with even more focus on Tuesday (22nd).
With the Red-Black team focused in accumulating more points in the championship, Flamengo and Coritiba face each other this Saturday (26) for the 21st round of the Brasileirão. The duel takes place at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), at Maracanã.
The teams play the first game of the quarterfinals at 7 p.m.

Tite defined Flamengo and announced the 11 starters who will face Peñarol, this Thursday, at Maracanã, at 7pm. De la Cruz returns to the starting lineup in place of Léo Ortiz, and Alex Sandro and Plata were retained. The duel with the Uruguayans is the first between the teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Conmebol Libertadores.
The Rubro-negra lineup follows:Rossi, Varela, Fabrício Bruno, Léo Pereira and Alex Sandro; Pulgar, De la Cruz, Gerson and Arrascaeta; Plata and Bruno Henrique.
Alex Sandro and Plata, debutants in last Sunday's classic, remain in the team after having good performances in the draw against Vasco. Gabigol is now out of the relationship due to fibrosis in the posterior muscle of his right thigh. Flamengo, in a statement, reported that the athlete did not suffer any injury in the region. "The Clube de Regatas do Flamengo informs that the athlete Gabriel Barbosa underwent tests that did not diagnose an injury to the posterior muscle of his right thigh. However, the Technical Committee opted for precaution and did not list him for the duel against Peñarol due to fibrosis in the region. Gabi is handed over to physiotherapists and physical trainers for the series of decisive games of the season."
