Last weekend, the Flamengoheld a women's football festival in partnership with Vale, sponsor of the red-black base via the Sports Incentive Law. The tournament hosted under-13, under-15 and under-17 teams, covering the field and hall.

The event took place in Marabá-PA, at Estaçãoconhecimento, and featured futsal and field football tournaments for more than 220 girls up to 17 years old - including young indigenous people from nearby villages. Furthermore, members of the club gave a training course for coaches to 55 physical education professionals in the region.


“We were surprised by the welcome from the city of Marabá, everywhere our committee showed its affection. by the Club was highlighted. The presence of women in the training course was very important, they represented half of the class. Finally, the girls playing futsal and field football for two days was very good, we had the opportunity to evaluate their performance during very competitive games”, said André Rocha, Flamengo's women's football manager.


The initiative's main objective was to promote the sport, one of the main pillars of the Rubro-Negro project involving the Meninas da Gávea, seeking to strengthen the base of women's football in the country.

Coach Tite led a tactical training session to define the starters who will start the decisive match.

The team receives good news with the return of De La Cruz, who is fully recovered from a muscle injury and will be available by Tite. Furthermore, reinforcements Alex Sandro, Carlos Alcaraz and Gonzalo Plata, who were recently registered in the competition, will also be ready to reinforce Mais Querido.
