In the match valid for the 22nd round of the Brazilian Championship, the draw of Flamengo against Palmeiras was not the only bad news that the red and black fans received. In the 12th minute of the first half, striker Everton Cebolinha was injured alone and had to leave the field of play. After the match, Flamengo confirmed that the injury was a rupture of the Achilles tendon in the left leg.
Everton Cebolinha will undergo surgery on site and will be out for a minimum period of four six months and no longer plays this season. Cebolinha's wife, Isa Ranieri, in a post on Instagram stories, posted a photo with the attacker in the hospital, where she admitted her frustration with her husband's injury, but declared her faith in Everton's prompt recovery, in addition to declaring his love for the Flamengo player.

But I cannot and must not forget the verse that marks our lives so much: everything works together for the good of those who love God. (...) The 2024 season had been Cebolinha’s best since he arrived at Flamengo. The striker started 32 games for coach Tite's team and has been one of the Red and Black's highlights with six goals scored and five assists, drawing praise from Flamengo fans. However, the series of injuries in the last month hampered the player's performance, which will miss Mais Querido until 2025.

Midfielder Jean Lucas is in great form for Bahia and, in recognition, was called up to the Brazilian National Team . In a press conference this Tuesday (2), the midfielder highlighted the importance of Rogério Ceni , his current coach, in his development on and off the field.

Rogério Ceni took over Bahia in 2023, while Jean Lucas arrived the following year . Since then, the duo has built a solid working relationship. Today, the defensive midfielder is a key player on the team, forming a midfield partnership with Flamengo legend Everton Ribeiro.
Despite their connection to the Red-Blacks , Ceni and Jean Lucas' paths never crossed at Gávea . Ceni managed the team between 2020 and 2021, while the midfielder came through the youth ranks but left the club in 2019 before making his way up to the senior squad.

Qatar's Al Rayyan attempted to sign striker Pedro in recent days , offering $20 million (approximately R$110 million). The proposal was delivered directly to the player's representatives, but Flamengo immediately rejected any possibility of negotiation.
According to journalist Venê Casagrande, the red-black board made it clear that it does not intend to sell Pedro in 2025, to the point of not even opening talks with the Qatari club , a position that changed after a strong member of the board declared to journalist Mauro Cezar Pereira that he would like to negotiate the center forward .
The number 9 is enjoying a good run of form with the team, but he's recently faced turbulence. Remo is in talks to sign 29-year-old left-back Jorge . The information was revealed by journalist Paulo Caxiado on the " Cartaz Esportivo " program on Rádio Clube do Pará. The player has been a free agent since September 2024, when he left CRB.
The negotiations are being led by Marcos Braz, the club's new football executive . Known nationally for his work at Flamengo , where he excelled as a manager, Braz is looking to bolster the Azulino squad with experienced players with established careers. 
A Flamengo youth product, Jorge built a career at major Brazilian and international football clubs such as Fluminense, Palmeiras, Santos, Basel (Switzerland) and Monaco (France) . His most notable achievements include the 2021 Copa Libertadores and the 2022 Brasileirão, both with Palmeiras.
This isn't the first time that athletes trained at Flamengo have played for Remo. Recently, "Crias do Ninho" Daniel Cabral and Felipe Vizeu wore the blue jersey , but left the club after failing to live up to expectations. The current squad also includes forward Pedro Rocha, who played for Flamengo in 2020. Marked by repeated injuries, he left the club in 2021.
According to data from Flaestatística, Jorge played 87 official matches for Flamengo, scoring 5 goals and winning 42. During that time, he also accumulated 20 draws and 25 losses, establishing himself as a promising young player at the beginning of his career.
