He started to insult me, calling me irresponsible , and he's the coach, I put my head down", said Alexandre Pato, in an interview with 'Flow Podcast', on Thursday (29).

"He's right. I made a mistake, I did it, you can talk But years passed and he wrote something in his book that he said he wasn't going to say. If he says he wouldn't say it, why did he write it in the book? It's a fair demand, it created a climate in Corinthians, a feeling of discomfort in the group", added Alexandre Pato.

REMEMBERING THE SITUATION

Grêmio and Corinthians were competing for a place in the World Cup semi-finals of Brazil 2013. The match was decided on penalties and, when Pato was charged, Dida saved. However, the striker's poor form outraged the current coach of Flamengo, teammates and fans, as the charge was made with a weak dig.

With the elimination of Corinthians, Tite arrived in the locker room angry and charged Alexandre Pato, however, soon after, now calmer, the coach promised that the content of the charge would never leave the team's changing rooms. Arena do Grêmio. However, the coach's authorized biography gave details of the conflict.

AND FLAMENGO?

No Flamengo by Tite there are still some doubts about the official penalty taker. This is because Gabigol, who was a starter, is now a reserve and would not enter the field just to take the charge. In this way, Pedro is the one who has beaten Rubro Negro's penalties.

The market is aware that Flamengo is looking for a possible replacement for the period in which Gabigol will be out. Therefore, several names are offered for the red-black board. According to journalist Geovana Barcelos, Alexandre Pato was one of them. But when he arrived at Fla's football department's desk, he was promptly rejected.

In 2019, Flamengo even thought about hiring Alexandre Pato, before trying to take Gabigol from Inter Milan. The person who confirmed it was the Pato himself, in a recent interview with the Arena SBT program: “It almost happened. I talked a lot with Marcos Braz, what a great figure. Too good people. But when everything was resolved, I tried to return to São Paulo. I was very clear with Marcos”, revealed Pato.

The topic ‘Alexandre Pato at Flamengo’ was raised by presenter Neto, as soon as Tite was announced as coach of Mengão. As Tite asked for the striker at Corinthians in 2013, Neto said to give the striker a chance at Gávea: “Tite signed Pato, Ibson and Maldonado (at Corinthians). Tite hired him, take him (Alexandre Pato) to Flamengo, Tite”, he said in a tone of irony.

In 2006, Alexandre Pato emerged in football and helped Internacional become World Cup champions against Barcelona . The meteoric explosion led to him being signed by Milan, in Italy, where he had some success. He then played for Corinthians, São Paulo, Chelsea and Asian football. Offered to Flamengo, Pato is without a club.
