Lázaro, former Flamengo striker and Cria do Ninho, was presented at Palmeiras this Wednesday (7) and has already given an interview to the São Paulo team's official channel, where he revealed that he received messages from Richard Rios, before get it right with the alviverde team. “I spoke a little with Richard Rios, he sent me a message. Garcia, Fabinho too, I know them from their youth team days, at the time I was at Flamengo, so I have a good relationship with everyone. They're good kids I've known for a long time. Nothing better than coming to Palmeiras too, a team that always competes for titles. Little by little, they are passing everything from the club to me”, said Lázaro to TV Palmeiras/FAM.


LÁZARO’S PASSAGE BY FLAMENGO


Lázaro played for Flamengo as a professional from January to August 2022. The striker was used by Paulo Souza and Dorival Júnior and was part of the Libertadores and Copa do Brasil champion squad. Remembering that he was the player who scored Rubro Negro's goal in the first leg of the Copa do Brasil against Atlético MG.

The Ninho creation made a total of 61 appearances for the professional team, scoring eight goals and providing eight assists. Soon after standing out in the professional team, Lázaro was sold to Almería. In the Spanish team, the player made 36 appearances and scored six goals.


LOAN WITH OPTION TO PURCHASE

According to information from GE, Palmeiras will pay around 1 million euros (R$ 5.3 million) to Almería for the loan. There is also a purchase option, valued at 12 million euros (R$64.5 million).

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) confirmed that all national competitions will be suspended during the 2027 Women's World Cup , which will be held in Brazil for the first time and will affect teams such as Flamengo due to the use of the main stadiums in Brazilian football.


CBF coordinator on Brazilian football: "Brazil's calendar will stop"


“During the 2027 World Cup, Brazil 's calendar will stop, including the men's. So, it's a very good opportunity , because whoever is consuming football will be consuming women's football,” said Marina Figueiredo, project coordinator for the Brazilian Women's Teams, during a presentation at Conafut (National Football Conference) this Friday (08).


The tournament will be played between June 24th and July 25th, and both the men's and women's championships will be suspended for a month . Furthermore, Brazilian club training centers must be used by the participating teams.

REASON FOR STRIKE


The measure is being taken because the stadiums of eight host cities will be ceded to FIFA for the games : Mineirão (Belo Horizonte), Mané Garrincha (Brasília), Neo Química Arena (São Paulo), Maracanã (Rio de Janeiro), Beira-Rio (Porto Alegre), Arena de Pernambuco (Recife), Fonte Nova (Salvador) and Castelão (Fortaleza).
