Last Wednesday (16), Flamengo was defeated by Santos, in a match valid for the 14th round of the Brasileirão. Thus, this Thursday (17), Rubro-Negro saw Cruzeiro take the lead in the competition by beating Fluminense and reaching 30 points in the league table.
Cruzeiro secured their victory in the first half, capitalizing on their attacking efficiency. In the 29th minute, after a corner kick from Matheus Pereira, former Flamengo defender Fabrício Bruno rose unmarked to head in the opener.

Discovered by Independente de Limeira, Felipe Teresa joined Flamengo in 2022, at just 15 years old.
