The striker, who currently plays for Qatari football, has once again put Flamengo at the center of his public statements. In an interview published this week by the ge portal, the name of the Rubro-Negro was mentioned no less than six times. Other indirect mentions left the impression that the club from Gávea still plays on the imagination of the former Corinthians player.

Guedes' relationship with Flamengo is not new. When he was in Brazil, the striker was speculated several times about joining the Rio de Janeiro club . But the negotiations never progressed, and the striker ended up opting for other paths, such as Corinthians, in 2021.
However, his admiration for Flamengo seems to have stood the test of time . During the chat, Róger recalled a conversation with Fábio Santos, a former Corinthians teammate, in which the name of the Rubro-Negro came up again. “He joked that the plane to Rio would have turbulence.” The reference, of course, was to the pressure and demands that come with wearing red and black.
In addition to mentioning proposals from Flamengo , Guedes also mentioned the club when commenting on requests from fans on social media. The player stated, indicating that part of the red-black fans remain interested in his football and would like to see him wearing the Mais Querido shirt and playing at Maracanã.

Even on a rare Monday for football, Flamengo made history at Maracanã . In front of more than 60,000 fans, the Red-Black team crushed Vitória 8-0 in a match valid for the 21st round of the Brasileirão. It was one of the most remarkable performances of the season.
On Tuesday (26), the squad was given a day off, but this Wednesday (27) the players will return to Ninho do Urubu , where Filipe Luís will lead training at 9:30 am (Brasília time), starting preparation for the next challenge in the Brazilian Championship.

With no room in Filipe Luís's squad, striker Juninho is close to leaving Flamengo . The player expressed his desire to return to Qarabag in Azerbaijan , the club where he enjoyed a successful career before joining Flamengo. The information was published by the RTI Esporte portal.

Looking to strengthen the squad for the fight to escape the relegation zone of the Brazilian Championship Series B, Athletic confirmed the arrival of defender Felipe Vieira , a young player trained in the youth ranks of Flamengo.
Felipe joined Flamengo in 2022 to play for the under-17 team and quickly excelled. At under-20, he earned a place in national and international competitions, demonstrating maturity and confidence. He was part of the squad that won the Under-20 Libertadores , a competition in which Flamengo defeated Palmeiras on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the final.
With the title, the club secured a spot in the U-20 Intercontinental Championship, which they won against Barcelona. The defender also lifted the U-20 Carioca Championship trophy for Mais Querido, but was not among the squad for the World Cup .
Now in Athletic 's professional squad, Felipe is already training under coach Rui Duarte, who now counts on the defender as an option to strengthen the defensive system in Serie B. The Minas Gerais club has the worst defense in the championship with 33 goals conceded.
In the 2024/25 season, Felipe started 15 matches for Flamengo's youth academy, totaling 721 minutes on the pitch. His main strengths are positioning, reading the game, aerial dominance, and defensive anticipation.
